French pronoun on and its counterparts in Czech and Spanish
Vítková, Alžběta ; Nádvorníková, Olga (advisor) ; Mudrochová, Radka (referee)
This bachelor's thesis French pronoun on and its counterparts in Czech and Spanish deals with the referential plurality of the French pronoun on. A special attention is paid to the degree of reference's determination. The theoretical part presents different perspectives of the study of this pronoun and of its meaning. Then, evolution of its use as well as types of its counterparts in Czech and Spanish are introduced. The empirical part analyses data excerpted from the parallel corpus InterCorp. It demonstrates that counterparts in Czech and Spanish are usually classified in different formal types. However, the degrees of reference determination in Czech and Spanish correspond in more than a half of instances. Research shows that the reference's determination is defined by the context (immediate, large and extralinguistic as well), nevertheless an objective universal determination remains impossible. Moreover, legal texts tend to employ the lowest degree of determination while the degrees of determination in fiction seem to be quite equally spread.

Braunová, Johana ; Nádvorníková, Olga (advisor) ; Mudrochová, Radka (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the French periphrasis être sur le point de + infinitive and its Czech counterparts. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part discusses the theoretical framework. It contrasts the verbal aspect and the Aktionsart in French and in Czech, with the focus on the ingressivity that the periphrasis être sur le point de + infinitive expresses. The second part consists of empirical research. It presents a corpus analysis conducted on the parallel corpus InterCorp and partly on the referential corpus for French language (Frantext). The aim of the corpus analysis will be to create a typology of Czech counterparts of this verbal construction (e. g. adverbs, verbal periphrases etc.), to determine their frequency within different types of texts and to determine the tendencies in the choice of translators. The research will be supplemented with the reverse corpus analysis of two of the Czech counterparts and their French respondents. This will allow to determine other constructions that enter to the same paradigm as the periphrasis être sur le point de + infinitive. Keywords: verbal periphrasis, ingressive aspect, corpus analysis, Czech, French

Syerikova, Marharyta ; Mudrochová, Radka (advisor) ; Kučerová, Magdalena (referee)
The phenomenon of enantiosemy in contemporary French The diploma thesis deals with enantiosemy in contemporary French. At the same time, we will notice the presence-absence of the analyzed phenomenon in the relevant study material of the French language. Also in this work will be shown different types of opposites of enantiosemic words. The selected enantiosemic words will be subjected to diachronic analysis. In addition, the phenomenon of interlingual enantiosemy will be investigated using the example of French and English. Key words : enantiosemy, opposites, homonymy, antonymy, semantics, polysemy, interlingual enantiosemy
