Possibilities of influencing the hallux valgus in physiotherapy
Altová, Eva ; Muchová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Táborská, Silvie (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on common deformity of the forefoot - hallux valgus and how it can be influenced in physiotherapy. In case of hallux valgus the first metatarsus deviates outwards and phalanges inwards. There are several of the inducing causes. In most cases it is caused by heredity, hypermobility and unsuitable footwear. In the theoretical part I apply myself to ontogenetic development and anatomical development of foot. I also mention the function of foot, gait and chaining muscle disorders in the musculosceletal system. The biggest part is devoted to the deformity of hallux valgus, its characteristic, possible causes, prevention and the options of treatment by conservative and also surgical procedures. In the practical part I employed the method of qualitative research. There were three patients with hallux valgus in the group I tested. With two of them I used the method of sensorimotor stimulation by Janda and Vávrová and with one of them I applied a kinesio tape. The therapies were supplemented by active targeted excercing. To verify the efficiency of the therapy I used, except the kinesiological examination, also the measuring with the Footscan® device. The outcome of the therapy are summarized in the discussion and the ending of the thesis KEY WORDS: hallux valgus, lower...
Movement in mathematics
Muchová, Zuzana ; Jirotková, Darina (advisor) ; Hejný, Milan (referee)
In my thesis I concern with the use of motoric activities in math classes. The chapters that offer a range of motoric activities were processed on the base of a questionnaire and an experiment. Some of the activities are currently being implemented in math classes by teachers of first, second and third grades at primary schools, others are part of textbooks designed for this age group. In addition to that, I offer five more possible activities, which have been recorded and interpreted within six experiments. The goal of the thesis is to demonstrate that physical movement cannot be separated from the life of six to nine years old children, and offer some motoric activities, which can potentially be contributive for development of mathematical skills and abilities.

BAKALÁŘSKÉ PRÁCE Jméno Petra Techmanová Obor Fyzioterapie, rok imatrikulace: 2008 Vedoucí práce: Mgr. Martina Puršová Počet stran: 99 Title: Physicaltherapy of acute stadium cerebrovascular accident CVA Abstract: This Bachelor's Thesis deals with physicaltherapy of acute stadium cerebrovascular akcident. The Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The former is concerned with mostly with remedial therapy - both acute and subacute. The latter includes a qualitative treatment of two casuistries in which the combination of PNF method and Dr. Václav Vojta's principle was applied within the therapy. For verification, the results from the examines carried out before and after the therapy were compared. Key words: CVA, Cerebrovascular accident, neurorehabiliation, rehabilitation of hemiparesis, neurology, physicaltherapy for CVA.
Detection of neuronal pathways after CNS lesions by using dextran amine.
Muchová, Zuzana ; Konopková, Renata (referee) ; Otáhal, Jakub (advisor)
Title of work: Detection of neuronal pathways after CNS lesions by using dextran amine. Aim: Develop a metodology for pathway tracing with the substance transmitted by axonal anterograde transport and compare iontophoretic and pressure injection of BDA. Methods: The experiment was performed on adult rats which where injected iontophoretic and pressure anterograde tracer BDA. One week after injection were decapitated in deep anesthesia, their brains removed, frozen in dry ice and stored at -70řC. The brains were then cut into thin coronal slice (50 µm), immunolabeled and loaded on microscopic slides. Individual sections were examined labeling nerve fibers at the injection site, its surroundings and contralateral side of the hemisphere. Results: After injections of anterograde tracer BDA into the nervous tissue have been shown labeling of nerve fibers at the injection site, surroundings and contralateral side of the hemisphere. As an efficient method for its injection was determined according to results of the pressure method. Key words: anterograde tracer, BDA, iontophoretic injection, cerebral ischemia, neuroplasticity
