This bachelors thesis is focused on exploring and analyzing the topic of online education from the point of view of teachers during the first two waves of COVID-19. Thesis is based on academic literature and analytical studies. The second part of this thesis is based around data acquired by two research companies Paq Research and Kalibro. The data went through secondary analysis and comparative approaches of the analysis. Theoretical section of this thesis aims to explain the specifics of the COVID-19 outbreak and how Czech education system with its teachers managed to transfer from offline to online teaching. Following the previous goals it also generally explains how teachers approached online educational environment. Teachers are important parts of educational politics, how they specifically played their part during these difficult times and how it changed them. These concepts will be enriched by the inequalities on regional scale. Analytical section along with authors own interpretation of results are based on the research questions and it brings new findings. Changing the entire concept of teaching, how teachers prepared for their lessons, what materials they used and many other concept, all these things posed a challenge, but in the end the assumption, that the first wave will be the "more difficult"...

Nováková, Klára ; Mouralová, Magdalena (advisor) ; Jelínková, Marie (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to understand how pupils with Vietnamese mother tongue perceive the period of compulsory schooling. The first three chapters of the thesis are devoted to a theoretical anchor that explains why inclusion in education is a relevant public policy issue. The chapters describe how the topic has been addressed in the past and how it is being addressed in the present. The follow-up third chapter includes theories from different areas of public policy that have contributed to a better understanding of the research aim of the thesis. Chapters four and five then discuss the contribution of similar public policy research that has been conducted in the Czech Republic and abroad. The methodology and individual research steps of the thesis are discussed in chapter six, where I defend the chosen design and individual research methods. The core of the thesis is chapter seven, which discusses the perspective of six students with different mother tongues. Here I reflect on how I have understood the respondents. Before concluding the thesis, I discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the research.

Teachers are a very important actor in education policy, they are the actor on whom the success of a policy depends. Due to their importance in education policy and the whole education system, there is paid very little attention to them by researchers, and this work could begin to change and bring new ideas for further research of the teaching community. The aim of this work is to identify topics that are important for teachers' organizations representing teachers in policy-making, and describe their attitudes towards them. Another goal is to identify and describe the functioning of teachers' organizations in education policy and what role they often play in policy-making. Methodologically, the work has a mixed research design, but for the most part it is qualitative research. For meeting of goals were used methods of document content analysis and semi- structured interviews with representatives of the surveyed organizations. Research in this work has shown that teachers' organizations emphasize the topics of support and the position of teachers, the law on teachers, the revision of the framework educational programs and the employment conditions of...

Mašková, Jana ; Mouralová, Magdalena (advisor) ; Ochrana, František (referee)
This diploma thesis examines the public political process for the implementation of local bilingual names while focusing on the enforcement of this law for citizens with Polish nationality in the Těšin Region. The main objective is to explain why this policy was or was not changed, what the reasons were for the non-conformity of the policy objectives with the results and to discover the actual failures in the implementation process, where as a consequence, in some villages the right of the minority to use local bilingual names was not fulfilled or was beset with problems in some villages. The subject of the investigation of both the legal and the institutional aspect of the problem focuses on the participating subjects, where one of the main roles of the committee for national minorities on the board of the municipal representatives was the requirement to implement local bilingual names. The guidelines for understanding the tools, procedures and relations used were the initial theoretical points related to the institutions and their changes, the implementation process (top-down and bottom-up approaches), initial theoretical points explaining the responsibilities of the participating subjects and not the intended consequences of their actions and those of others. The research design is a case study.

Integration of children with ADHD syndrome at the primary school level
Richterová, Kateřina ; Angelovská, Olga (advisor) ; Mouralová, Magdalena (referee)
This thesis deals with an integration of children with ADHD syndrome to ordinary primary schools. Manifestations of the disorder hinder in pupil's education, therefore it's necessary to pursue to them individually. Thanks to an amendment to the Czech law in 2005, have these pupils with special educational needs greater attention. The author examines the implementation of integrational policies of pupils with ADHD syndrome, through interviews with street-level bureaucrats and their clients. When reviewing the two questioned cases the integration of pupils with ADHD syndrome in the presence of an assistant teacher seems like very good solution. But there is still a big role played by other concerned people like parents, teachers, teacher assistants, principals or counselors. Few shortcomings can be found in the integration, most often flowing from the inadequate funding or the obsolete education system. From results we can conclude that integrational trend is running in the Czech Republic, however there are not always appropriate conditions in schools.
