Non-destructive properties detection of concrete of prestressed beams
Mikulec, Jan ; Bílek, Vlastimil (referee) ; Cikrle, Petr (advisor)
The masers’s thesis is about the methods of non-destructive testing and about determining the properties of prestressed concrete. The first part pursues an introduction on the prestressed concrete, its essence and material properties. The next section describes the non-destructive diagnostic methods used in the practical part – the ultrasound impulse method, the resonance method and the rebound hardness test method. There are described destructive tests on the specimens for the calculation of the calibration. This is followed by a practical part, which describes the item tested - truss, its manufacturing, storage, and perform the test. Then search value are calculated from the test results and results are compared according to various procedures specified in the standards. The last section is devoted to the calculation of camber truss and loss of preload.
Possibilities of archiving NC programs in small versus large companies
Mikulec, Jan ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with archiving of NC programmes in engineering companies. The theoretical part describes how the machine tools and their archiving tools are developed. Then the NC programme is characterised together with its structure and the importance of individual characters, followed by characterisation of currently used archiving tools and description of NC programmes labelling that simplifies the archiving. The last part is dedicated to practical examples of the NC programmes archiving and their comparison. The thesis is supplemented with examples of archiving programmes used in chosen companies.
Hardness testing of concrete in construction - new devices and procedures
Mikulec, Jan ; Pospíchal, Ondřej (referee) ; Cikrle, Petr (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis is carried out a research of non-destructive hardness methods. There are presented different instruments for measuring hardness and their destination for materials. There are also described and compared two possible approaches to processing of measured values and their evaluation. It deals with news in detail of hardness testers and work with them. These knowledge are applied to measure the hardness of concrete components using an instrument OriginalSchmidt type N and SilverSchmidt PC type N and data processing according to the two approaches and their comparison with the reasults of the cores.
Process optimization design for valve production
Mikulec, Jan ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
The thesis deals with one particular production line for the production of valves. The thesis is created in cooperation with IMI Norgren CZ, which provided information about the production. The company selected a problematic production line that has a large number of non-conforming parts and in cooperation with the workers, this issue will be addressed. The theoretical part describes the methods and tools of quality management and the basic classification of pneumatic valves. Furthermore, a structured approach is applied to solve the problem. After analyzing the problems and finding the probable fault, a measure will be proposed to reduce the high non-availability of the products. In the last part, the financial cost of implementing the measure and its payback will be compared. Individual results and examples of solutions will be documented in the appendix.

Inscriptions on mural and board paintings in Czech Gothic art of the 14th century
Mikulec, Jan ; Royt, Jan (advisor) ; Sekyrka, Tomáš (referee)
This bachelor's thesis deals with inscriptions on mural and board paintings in Czech Gothic art of the 14th century. The selection of the artworks that meet the set criteria was treated in a form of comparison from different point of views. As a result a set of three separate typological units has been created. Transcriptions and translations of all the inscriptions used in forming the typologies are a part of the work presented.
