Inflammatory bowel disease (Problems of chronic Illnes)

This bachelor thesis is focused on the clients with chronic intestine disease that is Crohn disease and ulcer colitis.The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes anatomy, history and characteristics features of the two non- specific disease. Second half of this part occupies with the quality of chronically ill person's life.The results of anonymous questionnare are arranged and later evaluated in the practical part as well as goals determination and hypotheses. Bullying in the Intensive Care Units

Bullying in the intensive care units. The main mission of this thesis is to describe an issue called mobbing. The primary target is to get information about rate of bullying in the intensive care units in south Bohemia, especially in Prachatice and Strakonice city and to know how many percent of employees / paramedics of the intensive care units were already touched by bullying. This kind of information we got by anonymous questionnaires, set up from 23 questions with open and closed form. In theoretical part I deal with actual status, explaining term of mobbing, bossing, causes of bullying, characteristic of the participants, bullying in the health service in the Czech republic. In the conclusion I show prevention and tolerance of mobbing and bossing. In practical part I point on assesment of hypothesis and evaluation of the target of my thesis. I suppose that the chicane show up in small measure on the workplace of the intensive care units. From my point of view I think that women working in the intensive care units are getting in a touch of bullying much more than men. In this part I want to show a methodology of research, parameter of complex and evaluation of research. In conclusion I get back to evaluation of research and starting a discussion. Nurses and Administrative Workers Quality of Life

The goal of this thesis is in picturing the problems of a life quality of nurses and administrative workers. The comparison is based on their education and work experience. The thesis shall reveal fundamental facts of hospitals suffering from shortage of nurses in connection with life quality and satisfaction in life achievements. The theoretical part is devoted to the term of life quality, research methods and life quality analysis. There is also necessary characterization for both of the professions. The research part is heading towards the goal of this thesis a survey based verification of the lied out hypothesis. It is covering public health sector and financial sector of the Czech Republic. The study revealed nurses suffering from higher levels of frustration in every single area of research when compared to the administrative workers.

Comparison between the quality of life of the patients with peritoneal dialysis in the year of 2004 and 2012

The Bachelor Thesis looks into the standard of quality of life of patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis. The aim of my work was to determine if the quality of life of the patients treated within the period of eight years moved towards any progress. Whether the patients have any problems at work, in their personal life, and if their illness allows them to enjoy leisure activities and last but not least, if they perceive any change in applying this treatment and how. In the theoretical part of my thesis, I am focused on summarizing the information related to anatomy and physiology of kidney, renal failure and compensation of renal function. The comprehensive description of the quality of life of these patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis forms an integral part of my work. In the empirical part, I have used quantitative research and data I obtained via questionnaire survey. In my further investigation I applied comparative research and its results were compared with the research undertaken in 2004. Gynaecological Problems which Occur in Little and Teenage Girls

In this master thesis we have been concerned with gynaecological problems which occur with little and teenage girls. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part we have tried to highlight the differences which concern with a child's organism. It is necessary to be aware of the fact that a child's patient is not an adult one. There are also described most often gynecological illnesses of the child's age and basic investigation methods used in child's gynaecology. The closing of the theoretical part is devoted to psychosocial aspects in particular age-periods and family education at basic schools and secondary grammar schools. The empirical part is focused on the research. It was carried out at basic schools and a secondary grammar school. Our aim was to obtain information in what way girls are informed in the sphere of sexual education. The result is that the prevalent majority of girls at the age of 13-15 have good background knowledge in sexual education.

The psychical Load of Intensive Care Nurses

The profession of nurse is closely connected with very intensive psychical and physical load, especially in the intensive care units (ICU). The interesting, but very sad fact, is that the mortality in ICU units in Czech republic is about 20%. Dying of each patient is of course a very stressful situation for his relatives and also for attending doctors and nurses. These frequent stressful situations result often in psychical or physical burnout by nurses in ICU. The unpleasant consequence of burnout by nurses is very often the change of job. The target of this thesis is to map the psychical load of nurses in ICU in czech hospitals. The target was met. The hypothesis number 1 was confirmed by the research. The hypothesis 2, 3, 4, 5 weren't confirmed. This diploma thesis has two main parts - teoretical and practical. The practical part of this diploma thesis is the qualitative research, that was made by questionnairies, that were sent to nurses of ICU in czech hospitals. The total number of sent questionnairies was 257 - the number of answered and returned questionnairies was 210 (82%). These 210 questionnaries were used in this diploma thesis.
