Use of 3D printing for the construction of loaded parts
Matějka, Tomáš ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing and manufacturing of a 3D printed bump stop part of shock absorber with a predetermined deformation characteristic. The aim of this thesis is to confirm or refute the suitability of using 3D printers to produce stressed components. The introduction deals with the approach of the method of additive technology using three-dimensional fixed objects, the method of 3D printing. Followed by a division of individual methods, types of printers and usable materials. The suitability of use for our specific case is also mentioned there. Furthermore, in this thesis, the model itself is designed and the assumed deformation characteristics of the bump stop are calculated using the finite element method. The next part of the thesis describes the production of the bump stop using a 3D printer, the advantages and weaknesses of this technology and evaluated the printed model itself compared to the proposed one. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to testing the manufactured bump stop, from which follows the suitability of using this technology.
Thermoluminescence measurement system
Matějka, Tomáš ; Král, Jan (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with revision and design of electronic for measuring system PSI TL 500 which is designed for measurement of thermoluminescence phenomena in photosystem II. Thesis describes principles and properties of the measuring system in its current form and changes for the new version are discussed. Digital control part based on Xilinx Zynq platform is designed. Revision of analog measuring part of system is made and partial changes are implemented.
Analysis of socially responsible activities of the selected company
Matějka, Tomáš ; Musil, Martin (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jiří (referee)
The subject of the thesis "Analysis of socially responsible activities of the selected company" is the analysis of CSR activities, which the company currently performs. The thesis aims to help a company determine whether to actively devote implementation of CSR. And also propose the first steps that the company has implemented in its eventual implementation.
Module for detection of ionizing radiation
Matějka, Tomáš ; Džbánek, Lukáš (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of detector of ionizing X-ray radiation. Conventional PIN photodiodes are used for construction of the detector. The thesis describes issue of using PIN photodiodes for X-ray and gamma radiation detection. Transimpedance amplifier is designed with two diferent modes of detection. Both amplifier variants are compared and their suitability for specific applications is discussed. The thesis describes principle of converting analog signals to digital and describes concept of bus for multiple detectors connection to central unit. Options for paralel data processing are discused in last part of thesis. The detector is implemented and measured values are compared with simulations.
Operating software with web interface for programmable controllers
Matějka, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with developing of software, which allows access and control of programmable controllers through web interface. Software uses client server model and for communication between client and server is used Windows Communication Foundation interface which is integrated in Microsoft .NET Framework from version 3.0. Applications were written in C# programming language using .NET Framework libraries. Data visualization in web application was created by Microsoft Silverlight.
Proposal for Effective Multicultural Team Management in an International IT Company
K analýze současného stavu byly použity rozhovory s jednotlivými členy týmu a dotazníkové šetření.
Comparison of funding for research, development and innovation in the Czech Republic with selected countries.
Matějka, Tomáš ; Peková, Jitka (advisor) ; Matula, Miloš (referee)
This thesis is focused on the analysis of the current system of funding for research, development and innovation in the Czech Republic and the subsequent comparison with foreign countries. The thesis provides a detailed overview of the current funding situation in the Czech Republic, the role of public administration in the process and mentions the critical comments that currently appear most often. Topicality and importance of the topic increases the current proposal on the creation of a new ministry for science. Working on the basis of analysis and comparison with other countries recommends changing the current system of funding for research, development and innovation in the Czech Republic, however, means other than the creation of the proposed new ministry.
Barriers in Communication between Workers in a selected Organization
Matějka, Tomáš ; Hiršová, Miloslava (advisor) ; Míková, Irena (referee)
The bachelor's thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. This work focuses on communication between managers and their subordinates in the selected organization. In the theoretical part, I explained the basic terms which are necessary for understanding the work. I also described in the theoretical part of several communication barriers that may arise between people in the workplace. In the practical part, I found out a questionnaire selected communication barriers among managers and workers. I then compared the responses of the two groups. The objective of my bachelor's thesis is to identify vertical barrier between superiors and their subordinates. At the end, I tried to propose solutions and thereby improve communication in the selected organization.
Analysis of factors affecting the selection of species fuel in domestic heating in Libeř and its surroundings
Matějka, Tomáš ; Louda, Jiří (advisor) ; Malý, Vítězslav (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the factors that influence people's decisions when selecting the type of fuel in domestic heating in a particular area. Air pollution causes local furnace negative health and economic impacts. With 50 personal structured interviews conducted research in Libeř and its surroundings. These findings indicate the influence of financial savings as an important factor in the decision of the respondents, while environmental responsibility does not appear to be a significant factor influencing the decision of the respondents. The nature of the problem depends on several interacting factors. For a credible identification of factors would need larger population of people.
