Module for detection of ionizing radiation
Matějka, Tomáš ; Džbánek, Lukáš (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of detector of ionizing X-ray radiation. Conventional PIN photodiodes are used for construction of the detector. The thesis describes issue of using PIN photodiodes for X-ray and gamma radiation detection. Transimpedance amplifier is designed with two diferent modes of detection. Both amplifier variants are compared and their suitability for specific applications is discussed. The thesis describes principle of converting analog signals to digital and describes concept of bus for multiple detectors connection to central unit. Options for paralel data processing are discused in last part of thesis. The detector is implemented and measured values are compared with simulations.
PHpix interface board
Opioł, Zbigniew ; Matějka, Tomáš (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This work investigates the interface and properties of an ionization radiation detector with the PhPix chip, which is the basis of a future large-scale detector for use in nuclear medicine. In the next stage, an IP core for communication between the processor system and the PhPix chips on the Zynq platform is designed. Furthermore, software for video transmission over Ethernet interface is developed.
Effect of material moisture on mechanical properties of a FDM printed part
Matějka, Tomáš ; Zouhar, Jan (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This thesis deals with the effect of humidity to the mechanical properties of 3D FDM printed parts. The aim of the thesis was to experimentally determine the rate of infulence of humidity to the mechanical properties, according to selected tests, for 3D printed parts by FDM method. Furthermore the course of air moisture absorption over time was monitored. The thesis contains description of the machines and material used. The way in which materials absorb moisture is also described here. Based on the research were selected specific materials, PLA, ABS, PETG, ASA and Nylon PA12. Tested samples were produced on a Kossel Linear Plus 3D printer from Anycubic. First experiment dealt with weight loss due to drying and the weight change due to air mositure absorption over time. This was followed by experimental evaluation of changes in tensile properties of the samples. In the next part of the thesis the change in toughness of materials was evaluated. There were made analysis of the macrostructure of the quarries for both tests. Furthermore the hardeness change was measured depending on the presence of moisture in the original samples. A microtome cut was made to analyze the results. The last part of the work was the economic evaluation of drying processes, which resulted in specific recommendations for the storage of printing materials.
Use of 3D printing for the construction of loaded parts
Matějka, Tomáš ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing and manufacturing of a 3D printed bump stop part of shock absorber with a predetermined deformation characteristic. The aim of this thesis is to confirm or refute the suitability of using 3D printers to produce stressed components. The introduction deals with the approach of the method of additive technology using three-dimensional fixed objects, the method of 3D printing. Followed by a division of individual methods, types of printers and usable materials. The suitability of use for our specific case is also mentioned there. Furthermore, in this thesis, the model itself is designed and the assumed deformation characteristics of the bump stop are calculated using the finite element method. The next part of the thesis describes the production of the bump stop using a 3D printer, the advantages and weaknesses of this technology and evaluated the printed model itself compared to the proposed one. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to testing the manufactured bump stop, from which follows the suitability of using this technology.
Operating software with web interface for programmable controllers
Matějka, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with developing of software, which allows access and control of programmable controllers through web interface. Software uses client server model and for communication between client and server is used Windows Communication Foundation interface which is integrated in Microsoft .NET Framework from version 3.0. Applications were written in C# programming language using .NET Framework libraries. Data visualization in web application was created by Microsoft Silverlight.
International contract of sale
Matějka, Tomáš ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Bříza, Petr (referee)
International Contract of Sale Abstract The international contract of sale is the basic instrument through which international trade takes place. However, due to its international nature, there is a lot of uncertainty associated with concluding and fulfilling obligations under an international contract of sale. This uncertainty may arise particularly from the fact that the parties to an international contract of sale do not know which law is to govern the agreement and which law will therefore be applicable to it. This thesis deals with the issues of the applicable law of the international contract of sale. Firstly, attention is paid to the general methods according to which the applicable law for the international contract of sale is determined. These are the collision method and the direct method. Subsequently, the sources of law that are important in terms of these methods in the environment of the Czech Republic are analyzed. The main part of the thesis is devoted to the collision legislation contained in the Rome I Regulation, which is the most important source of law that regulates this issue within the European Union. Relevant international conventions concluded between the Czech Republic and some third countries as well as the Private International Law Act are also analyzed. From the sources of law,...

Radiological, Histochemical and Histological Changes M. Erector Spinae by Patients with a Fracture of Thoracolumbal Spine Treated With Open or Miniivasive Stabilisation
Matějka, Tomáš ; Matějka, Jiří (advisor) ; Džupa, Valér (referee) ; Chaloupka, Richard (referee)
Today, miniinvasive operations are part of modern medicine and in recent years have partially replaced open methods. The aim of this study was to compare radiological, histochemical and histological changes of the erector spinae muscle in patients with thoracolumbar spine fractures treated with open (OPEN) and miniinvasive (MISS) stabilization. The purpose was not to evaluate one method as better or worse, it was only a comparison and finding out the advantages and disadvantages of individual operations. During the study, we compared both the above-mentioned differences in the quality of the erector spinae muscle and laboratory changes in blood levels of muscle enzymes, we compared the duration of operations, the accuracy of insertion of transpediculars screws, blood loss, kyphotization of spine segments and exposure of radiation. It has been hypothesized that muscle damage in all factors will be lower in MISS than in OPEN. A total of 38 patients with type A and B fractures according to the Vaccar classification, 19 underwent MISS surgery and 19 at the OPEN method were included in the prospective randomized study. The average age of the whole group was 46.4 years (18 - 68), the average age for MISS procedures was 42.6 (18 - 66), for OPEN was 48.7 (19 - 68). Only monotrauma of the TL spine was...
