It's structure is based on the most explicit model - singapure project God's Campaing from 2001, which is disassembled step by step by marketing management methodology and extended with related cases of "God's medializations" throughout the most influential communication channels of twentieth and twenty-first century at the same time, e.g. radio and television broadcasting, internet and entertainment industry. The Devil as portrayed in Current Film Art
Schieblová, Veronika ; Martínková, Libuše (advisor) ; Kropáček, Luboš (referee)
The thesis "The Devil as Portrayed in Contemporary Film Art. Focused on American and British Production from the 60s until the Present" discusses the portrayal of the Devil in contemporary American and British film. The work is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part summarizes the concept of the Devil from the perspective of different religions, followed by a chapter on the concept of the Devil in the visual arts. The practical part of the work analyzes films that represent the Devil as a man or a zoomorphic creature, films dealing with exorcism, and finally films that portray the Devil as the Antichrist. The work examines the symbols used in films to capture the Devil in its entirety. It deals primarily with the Devil's appearance, character and power as well as the methods used to demonstrate this power. The analysis of the filmmakers' interpretation is then compared with the Devil as portrayed in traditional religion and art. The goal is to systematically develop an overview of the Devil as a recurring character in contemporary film art and at the same time examine the relationship between film, religious and artistic conceptions of the Devil.

Image of religion in Bioshock. Infinite computer game
Kothera, Jiří ; Kostičová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Martínková, Libuše (referee)
Image of religion in Bioshock: Infinite computer game Master's thesis - Bc.Jiří Kothera Few mainstream computer games have caused such controversy as Bioshock: Infinite (Irrational Games, 2013). The third installment of the Bioshock series is set in the fictional city of Columbia in an alternate history of early twentieth century, which at first glance appears to be a perfect social utopia. After a while, however, the narrative begins to uncover the multilayered problems of society oppressed by a fraction of the white elite and religious fanaticism embodied by the character of Z.H.Comstock, the charismatic leader of the whole community. The popularity of the game and its stable position at the top of the various popularity charts are not only due to the attractive audiovisual processing and complex game mechanics. It is primarily a story that uses (for a mass audience product) an unprecedented amount of religious symbolism - especially Christian, historical references, polysemic story elements and the story based on the concepts of Frontier myth and American exceptionalism. This work deals with the analysis of narrative and religious-social phenomena appearing in the game, especially those that are directly related to the religious and nationalistic topics in the United States.

Sálová, Jana ; Martínková, Libuše (advisor) ; Kropáček, Luboš (referee)
Vztah teologie a etiky novinářské práce Relation of theology and ethics of the newspapering Mgr. Jana Sálová, DiS. In my thesis "Relation of theology and ethics of newspapering" I wanted to find how journalists enforce ethics of newspapering in practice, if this ethical rules hold always and everywhere or is special ethical rules for work of journalist e. g. in war. And if and how much mingle belief and religion with work of journalist. My thesis "Relation of theology and ethics of newspapering" is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The knowledge gained from the practical part are then summarized in the final part of the thesis. In the beginning of the theoretical part of the thesis I present the definition of ethics and its forms in ancient history - in Egypt, Mesopotamia, Canaan, Israel and Greece. Then I present thinkers of medieval philosophy, especially Augustinus Aurelius and Thomas of Aquin. To this historical overview I also added the development of ethics in modern periods, e.g. utilitarianism, Kant and his categorical imperative and existential approach. From 20th century theories I chose situational ethics with roots in the 60's. As we can approach ethics differently, I presented the division of ethics within philosophy (descriptive, normative and applied ethics and also...
