Influence of Wind Farms on Electrical Energy Quality
Bartko, Jan ; Krátký,, Milan (referee) ; Malý, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is occupied by influences of wind farms on electrical energy quality. Object of thesis was analyse influence of these power plants in a large of number. The first part was attended to presentation of wind turbines producers and their agency on worldwide and European market. At the same time were introduced new technologies of wind power generate. The second part is occupied by influence of wind farms on electrical energy quality. In this part was created model of feed system by GLF software and wind farms were connected into it. By the help of this model was run analyze of local influences of wind power plants on electrical energy quality. In last part was assessed influence of wind power plants feed system integration on electrical energy price, build and operating costs, including the prognosis to the future.
Study of the small water power plant which is situated in the middle and lower reach of river Morava
Dočkal, Jiří ; Malý, Jiří (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
The present thesis deals with the description of the current state on the course of Morava river from small hydro Kromeriz after a small water plant Hodonin. Subsequently, I deal with the description of search of weir plants and weirs for the construction of small hydropower (especially their heads, structures and, where appropriate, possible adaptation). Then I deal with completion new hydroelectric plants on this founded weir plants and weirs which are in section between the small hydroelectric power Kromeriz and Lanžhot city on the Czech Republic side (Brodské on the Slovak Republic side). In this work is mainly focus on the calculation of installed performance in individual locations (and also the calculation of achievable performance in these locations), machinery design (for the use of selected sets from Hydrohrom company) and the way the configuration of the power switch. If it is in those places, řeším even more possibilities of this construction is splavnění view of the river, especially in the field of Hodonin - Lanžhot. In addition, deals with the design of line side cubicle of each switch to local distribution networks (draft routes). In the last phase deals with the size of the production in each generation, calculations of costs of constructing these plants, approximate calculation of the production (of the flows of 2007) and time of return on your investment in the construction.
Tax Havens and their Utilization
Malý, Jiří ; Krejčí, Stanislav (referee) ; Kopřiva, Jan (advisor)
Master thesis deals with tax havens and their utilization. In the teoretical part are defined fundaments of the tax havens and their utilization. Next part of thesis is analysis of tax havens in the Middle East. In this part focus is on coutries like Bahrain, Qatar or United Arab Emirates. Based of founded facts are concluded recommendations for concrete company with aim to reduce taxation.
Head Office building company
Malý, Jiří ; Kučera, František (referee) ; Daněk, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis processes project documentation for headquarters of construction company. Main purpose of building is to facilitate administrative nd manufacturing needs of the company. Building contains of reception, offices, meeting room, restrooms and lock rooms for employees, elevator and workshops. There is underground garage in the basement. Building is going to be situated in Stritez u Policky. Building takes up 1088m2 of land. Vertical structures are mainlymade of concrete and brick blocks. Horizontal structures are made of reinforced concrete panels, roof structure is made of wooden trusses.
Impact of Renewable Sources on Power System Operation
Malý, Jiří ; Rusek, Stanislav (referee) ; Modlitba, Petr (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
Doctoral thesis deals about primary and secondary energy legislation of the Czech Republic and proposes supplement to the legislation for renewable sources of energy. The thesis contents proposal of methodology of determination of available network capacity for connecting of new renewable sources. It analyzes current state of Czech electric power system and its possibilities for integrating new sources. It also determined available network capacity for connecting of new renewable sources in various regions of Czech Republic according to actual trend of renewable sources development. Next part of the thesis simulates impact of volatile large production of wind power plants in northern Germany in near future (year 2015). The thesis also contents proposal to the Czech power system reinforcements to eliminate negative impacts of loops flows.
Project of combined heating system with heat pump
Michl, Pavel ; Malý, Jiří (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is to project a combined heating system with heat pump as a source of the heat energy. The solving concept contains a proposal of the controling system of the combined heat system and its energetic valuation.
Influence of Wind Farm Integration to Power System
Pospíšil, Petr ; Belatka, Martin (referee) ; Malý, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is divided into four main parts. The first point includes a characterization of the origin of wind, a principle and a division of the wind – mill motors and a characterization of a wind power plant. The second part analyses effects which the wind power plans have on the power system and also analyses grid problems with large amount of installed wind – mill motors. In the other point national grid codes are analysed (such as Germany, Denmark, Ireland). On the bases of these analyses the suggestions of the modifications of the Czech distribution grid code are summarized.
Polycentric urban forms: The relevance of scale for metropolitan and city planning
Malý, Jiří ; Krejčí, Tomáš
The paper deals with the importance of scale in metropolitan and urban planning, in connection with the promoted and often applied concept of polycentric development. Although the normative conceptualization of polycentricity to some extent reflects the multi-scalar dimension, the operationalization of the concept encounters a number of limitations and fuzzy meanings that result from different scales of analysis and interpretation. Using the Czech context of planning practice, the negligence of the importance of overlapping geographical scales and limits of binding spatial planning materials is documented. The dependence of polycentricity on the scale has consequences both for the analytical evaluation of the spatial situation of the settlement system and for the subsequent interpretation of the results and the setting of further development strategies.\n
New aproaches to myocardial atrophy attenuation after mechanical unloading - Experimental study of heterotopic heart transplantation in rats
Pokorný, Martin ; Malý, Jiří (advisor) ; Ošťádal, Petr (referee) ; Rohn, Vilém (referee)
Cardiac atrophy, as a result of a long term mechanical unloading observed in patients treated with mechanical circulatory supports, represents a substantial obstacle in cardiac recovery. The first aim of this thesis was to evaluate the course of unloading-induced cardiac atrophy in healthy and failing heart. Mechanical unloading was studied in an experimental model of heterotopic heart transplantation in rats. Heart failure was experimentally induced by chronic volume overload achieved by creation of aorto-caval fistula. The second aim of this thesis was to discover if dietary induced increase in fatty acids concentration in heart tissue, specifically myristic, palmitic and palmitooleic, that are believed to promote physiological heart growth, could attenuate the course of cardiac atrophy. The third aim of this thesis was to examine if increased isovolumic loading obtained by intraventricular implantation of newly designed spring expander would attenuate the development of cardiac atrophy. The level of cardiac atrophy was evaluated as the weight loss of the heterotopically tranplanted heart compared to the control heart on days 7, 14, 21 and 28 after heterotopic transplantation. The cardiomyocyte width and the level of cardiac fibrosis was studied simultaneously. Mechanical unloading following heterotopic...
