1 Abstract Title: Effect of physical exercise during pregnancy to diafragma pelvis Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to point out the influence of the appropriately chosen regular exercise during pregnancy on the state of the pelvic floor, especially after childbirth. Methods: Six selected probands, first-time mothers, aged 29-34 completed a four- month exercise plan that was specifically prepared for pregnant women. During the exercise, they communicated their feelings, and these were reported in the case reports. The pelvic floor was evaluated by an ultrasound examination after the childbirth. The ultrasound examination was performed by professional staff at the ÚPMD at 6 weeks, 6 months, and 12 months postpartum. The mothers provided me with their documentations from the individual examinations. Further, the interviews were conducted with individual probands, where anamnesis was taken using questions, and subjective feelings were ascertained not only during exercise, but also during and after the childbirth. The questions were aimed at experiences associated with the pelvic floor. Results: All probands completed the exercise program in its entirety. According to the ultrasound examinations, three mothers gave birth without any injuries in the area of pelvic floor and had no abnormal findings on the...

Title: Possibilities of using the Wim Hof method as a regenerative procedure and its comparison with the regenerative cooling procedure Department: Department of Health Physical Education and Sport Medicine Supervisor: MUDr. Simona Majorová Objectives: The main goal of the thesis was to find out whether the Wim Hof method can be effectively used as a regenerative procedure between the training units, second goal was to judge on which components of after-load states the procedure has the biggest influence on. The other goals were to briefly summarize current knowledge about the basics of sports training, regeneration methods and methods of determining the effectiveness of regeneration procedures and to compare our results with knowledge in the professional literature. Methods: As one of the methods, we used heart rate monitoring during the training cycle. The second monitored parameter was the values of feeling states, which were recorded using scales modeled on the Borg scales of perceived intensity and pain. The parameters of the resulting sensation score are sleep quality, mental state, fatigue and leg pain. 10 active sportsmen aged 21-26 took part in the research. Results: The results of our research suggest that the Wim Hof method could be used as a regeneration procedure, especially in...

Title: Exercise with seniors in a retirement home with a special regime Objective: The main aim of the study was to determine whether seniors with cognitive impairment experience improvements that have a statistical significance in selected components of physical fitness after a three-month exercise program. Furthermore, it was checked whether regular physical activity changes their attitude towards exercise. Methods: The study involved 9 probands (3 of them male) aged 72 to 90 years with cognitive impairment. The probands completed a three-month program (April-June 2022) in which they performed group and seated chair exercises twice a week for sixty minutes. At the beginning and end of the intervention program, they underwent an orientation fitness assessment using the senior fitness test and a questionnaire form on health limitations and attitudes toward exercise. Results: The results of the senior fitness test showed that there was a statistically significant improvement in the parameters of lower limb strength, and agility with dynamic balance. Some improvement was seen in the other parameters, but without the statistical significance. Most probands showed a positive change in their attitude towards physical activity.
