Labour-Law Aspects of the Employer's Asset Protection

The thesis elaborates on the issue of protecting the assets of the employer in the context of labour law. This topic is closely linked to the employee's liability for damage caused to the employer, so in the introduction of the thesis, legal theory and general principles of liability are addressed. The following part of the thesis works with the legal legislation in force together with current decisional practice of courts. The thesis consists of three chapters, which are then divided into individual subsections and sections. The first chapter offers a characterisation of juridical institute of liability with a focus on the labour liability. Labour liability in this chapter is then analysed and classified in various ways, in particular on the basis of employees culpability to subjective and objective , as well as the material and non material liability and also the individual and the collective liability. It also offers a description of the main purpose of liability in labour relations. The employee's liability for damages including prevention duties in accordance with the labour code is discussed in the second chapter. Development of the state system of the Byzantine Empire

100 Resumé: This diploma paper discuss about development of the state system of the Byzantine Empire in context with many changes of the form and extension of its territory. Primary are analysed relations between basic powers of the state and changes of their positions. Basic powers are means emperor, army and Church. Secondary senate, demoi and civil and military aristocracy. First chapter talk about territory evolution and about changes of the foreign and political relations of the empire. It primary serves like a illustartion of compilcated standing of the empire and also many important chnages of the territory and its ethnical structure of the state. These circumstances constituted a big problem for state administration. Second chapter attend to development of the state administration with special intent on the "theme system". Especially on its origins and downfall. Author also try to find context between decline and fall of the empire and administration of the state. In the third chapter is analysed successional system of byzantine emperors, especially its negative aspects.
