Comparison of Transonic Flows Through Two Tip-Section Turbine Blade Cascades with Different Flat Profiles
Musil, Josef ; Příhoda, Jaromír ; Fürst, J. ; Luxa, Martin ; Šimurda, David
The contribution deals with numerical simulations of 2D compressible flow through two variants of the tip-section turbine blade cascade with a flat profile for the subsonic inlet. Simulations were realised by means of the OpenFOAM code using the γ-Reθ bypass transition model completed by the two-equation SST turbulence model. Predictions were focused particularly on the impact of the shock-wave/boundary-layer interaction on the flow structure in the inter-blade channel. Beside the effect of the inlet angle on the flow around the leading edge was studied. Numerical results were compared with optical and pressure experimental data.
Effect of Various Boundary Conditions on the Supersonic Flow Through the Tip-Section Turbine Blade Cascade with a Flat Profile
Musil, Josef ; Příhoda, Jaromír ; Fürst, J.
The paper deals with the numerical simulation of 2D compressible flow though the tip-section turbine blade cascade with a flat profile. The OpenFOAM code was used for simulations based on the Favre-averaged Navier-Stokes equations completed by the two-equation SST turbulence model and the gama-Re_th transition model proposed by Langtry and Menter (2009). Calculations were carried out for two nominal regimes with the inlet Mach number M1 = 1.2 and isentropic outlet Mach numbers M2is = 1.7 and 1.9. Simulations of compressible flow with the supersonic inlet were focused on the relation between of the inlet Mach number and the inlet angle given by the unique incidence rule. Further, the effect of the inlet free-stream turbulence and of the outlet isentropic Mach number on the flow filed in the blade cascade was investigated. Numerical results were compared with results of optical and pressure measurements.
Simulation of Supersonic Flow Through the Tip-Section Turbine Blade Cascade with a Flat Profile
Musil, Josef ; Příhoda, Jaromír ; Fürst, J.
The contribution presents results of the numerical simulation of 2D compressible flow through the tip-section turbine blade cascade with a flat profile and the supersonic inlet. The simulation was carried out by the OpenFOAM code using the Favre-averaged NavierStokes equations completed by the two-equation SST turbulence model and the γ-Reθ bypass transition model. Predictions carried out for nominal conditions were focused particularly on the relation between the inlet flow angle and the inlet Mach number. Further, the effect of the shock-wave/boundary layer interaction on the skin friction coefficient was investigated. Numerical results were compared with experimental data.
The Concept Maps and their use in physics teaching in basic schools
MUSIL, Josef
The goal of this master's theses is to make a theoretical analysis related to creation of concept maps and its use in elementary school, as well as creativity and other aspects of the creative process. Another part is the didactic analysis which includes a comprehensive analysis of the chosen physical thematic unit. This is followed by the verification of the created concept maps in the real teaching that was realized within the pedagogical probe.
The Improvent Proposal of Financial Management of The Local Autthority
Kaufmannová, Jana ; Musil, Josef (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with money management in municipality Libchavy in years 2005 - 2007. Its theoretical part sums sup the most important pieces of knowledge concerning municipality functioning and money management of municipality. The practical part comprises the analyses of the status of municipality money management in the field of budget receipts and budget expenditures. In terms of previous pieces of knowledge, there are defined proposals for improving money management and contribution of municipality.
Innovations school information system in term of the data management and security
MUSIL, Josef
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyse a current situation and shortcomings of a computer network in a specific educational environment within the information system. I will propose a comprehensive solution for the modernization of the information system and the related necessary network infrastructure, in term of the backup and data storage, network security and multimedia data management including the financial balance of the project. A part of this bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the current situation of the information system and computer network of the Střední uměleckoprůmyslová škola sv. Anežky České. The analysis is based on my own research. It also contains a survey among teachers and students to determine their point of view on the current situation of the information system. Depending on the discovered information I will propose specific solutions to improve the current situation at the selected school. This bachelor thesis includes the entire structure of the information system and the modernized network. It can serve as a summary of basic information to resolve the issue of sharing, protection and transmission of information within the school environment. Its objective is to present a practical and purposeful summary for innovation of the information system of a school including a stable computer network.
