Calculation of lift force of a body using potential flow.

The thesis is concerned with computation of a lift force generated by flow past a cylinder. It provides definition of fundamental terms regarding flow and recounts the laws of balance. It offers an alternative formulation of balance of momentum for the particular case of steady flow - Crocco's theorem - which formulates balance of momentum using total enthalpy and links the change of entropy with vorticity. Next, Biot-Savart's law for vortex filament in a fluid is derived. Potential flow and complex potential are then used to describe flow past a cylinder; lift force is calculated as a product of velocity at infinity, the fluid's density and circulation. Using Crocco's theorem, the thesis considers release of the heat of condensation, the change in entropy and the following emergence of vorticity resulting in circulation and, consequently, lift force. Relation between forces induced by fluid flow and dissipative processes in boundary layers

Práce se zabývá vlivem disipativních proces· v mezních vrstvách, konkrétně vlivem viskozity tekutiny a dále vlivem difúze vodní páry ve vzduchu na vznik sil p·sobících na obtékaná tělesa. Z Croccovy věty plyne, že gradient entropie má sv·j podíl na vzniku cirkulace a d·sledkem toho i na vznik vztlakové síly. Práce zkoumá vznik vztlakové síly při obtékání rotujícího válce, v soft- waru FEniCS modeluje tuto situaci, porovnává s modelem nevazké nestlačitelné tekutiny a následně i s experimentem provedeným Ing. Zdeňkem Trávníčkem a Ing. Zuzanou Broučkovou. Taktéž zkoumá vznik vztlakové síly při vypařování na horní straně válce a srovnává s případem rotujícího válce. 1

The proposition of inbound marketing strategy of Egerfish s.r.o.

The objective of the diploma thesis is a proposition of inbound marketing strategy of Egerfish - a limited liability company. Egerfish is a manufacturing and wholesale company conducting business on the fishing tackle market. Egerfish´s products are sold under two brands - Sema and Suretti. Egerfish is trading exclusively with retailers within B2B relationship. The proposal of inbound marketing strategy is based on the company analysis and analysis of the fishing tackle market in the Czech Republic. The methods used for the inbound marketing strategy proposition were: consultation with specialists within fishing tackle market and within online marketing, survey and personal observation within Internet search. The proposition of inbound marketing strategy put forward the most effective mediums (or channels) that are mainly newly created website Sema-suretti.cz, Facebook page Sema Suretti and YouTube. Egerfish should focus on communication with its final consumers (fishermen) my means of these proposed mediums. The main contribution of this thesis is the proposition of a complex marketing strategy that was enriched by the definitions of brands and consumer "persons", which had not been created by the company yet.

Oddlužení jako způsob řešení úpadku

The Bachelor's thesis deals with the discharge of debts of a natural person which is governed by the Act No.182/2006 Coll., on Insolvency and Methods of Resolution (the Insolvency Act) and that came into force on January 1st 2008. The aim of this thesis is to provide a fundamental analysis of this non-eliminative method of resolving insolvency and the underlying issues are illustrated by the rulings of the high courts and the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic. The last chapter is devoted to the collective debt relief of the husband and wife, whose bankruptcy estate belongs to community property; this issue is practically created by the practice of the insolvency courts, because the Insolvency Act does not introduce it.

Frequency and causes of injuries of children in pre-hospital emergency care

Injuries represent the greatest danger for children and the most frequent cause of their death. A certain dangerous situation precedes every injury and as such it can always be prevented. Emergency rescue teams provide professional urgent pre-hospital care. Based on theoretical knowledge and practical experience of a member of a rescue team providing pre-hospital urgent care, two research objectives were determined. Objective no. 1 was to map out the number of children{\crq}s injuries in the regional centre of České Budějovice between 2004-2008. Objective no. 2 was to analyze the situations in which children of various ages get injured. Three hypotheses were determined. Hypothesis no. 1 ``Children living in towns get injured more frequently than children in villages``, was not confirmed. Hypothesis no. 2 ``Children up to 6 years of age most frequently suffer injuries when they are at home and their parents are not cautious enough``, was confirmed. The last determined hypothesis ``Children between 6 {--} 18 years of age get injured during active sports and traffic accidents most frequently``, was confirmed. It is more efficient to invest in preventative activities that reduce the number and seriousness of injuries in children. If we take measures to prevent injuries, the number of fatalities will go down.
