SWOT analysis and business strategy

Bachelor thesis called "SWOT Analysis and Company Strategy" describes and examines individual elements of XY's business model and also describes how this business model has changed over time. The aim of the paper is to define a strategy for improving the current state of the company based on the acquired knowledge. XY is a retailer specializing in the sale of coffee and wine. The thesis also deals with the blue ocean strategy. For example, using the tools from this concept, a value curve and the coordinate grid "eliminate - reduce - raise - create" were prepared. Several analyses served to explore the marketing space. Porter's five forces analysis was used for the micro environment and the STEP analysis was used for the macro environment. These analyses subsequently complement the SWOT analysis that studies strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. A SWOT matrix was created from the SWOT analysis and alternative strategies were generated.
