Reduction in House Prices due to Roof Structure Defects
Mareš, Petr ; Kosová, Jaroslava (referee) ; Weigel, Lubomír (advisor)
This master’s thesis provides us into the issues of reduction of house prices due to roof structure defect. First charter takes interest in theorethical solutions for residential houses valuation with defects.Real estate survey is introduced in chapter two. The third part of this master’s thesis is focused on possible roof structure defects and malfunctions. In last charter we can find the valuation of house with defect. The main goal of this thesis is to create a procedure for the reduction of property price with roof structure defect.
Semiconductor chip interconnection
Mareš, Petr ; Vaško, Cyril (referee) ; Novotný, Marek (advisor)
The Bachelor Thesis deals with contacting semiconductor chips using wirebonding. Opening chapters devoted to technology interconnect chips with the enviroment and materials to use. Much of this work is devoted to simulation wirebonding connections in Ansys. The simulations are engaged in examining thermomechanical stress in wires and current density at contacts. Results carried out simulations are measured with a focus on reliability and stressability of individual wirebonding connections. Part of this work is also practical measurements current stressability of wirebonding connections. At the end of the work was examined how to change the current stressability wires after the application of glue on contact.
Automatic Library Code Detection in PE Executable Files
Mareš, Petr ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Kolář, Dušan (advisor)
Master's thesis describes imported functions detection in PE executables, which are from static libraries. Main reason is process automatization and analysis simplification. Detection is solved by searching prepared patterns with missmatch tolerance. Missmatch are caused by changing address during building application. Resulting application supports compiler detection and it contains patterns for MinGW32, Visual studio 2005 and C++ Builder 6.
Selective growth of GaN layers on substrate modificated by method FIB
Mareš, Petr ; Voborný, Stanislav (referee) ; Mach, Jindřich (advisor)
The thesis deals with the selective growth of GaN crystals on the SiO2 layer. The theoretical part discusses the type of growth of ultrathin layers with focus on gallium nitride and its manufacturing. Moreover the text deals with principles of the focused ion beam and basic principles of other further methods which were used for analyzing the samples (AFM, XPS, photoluminescence spectroscopy). Experimental part consists of depositions of GaN. The silicon wafer Si(111) with native oxide SiO2 (1-2 nm) was used as a substrate. Focused ion beam was utilized to manufacture suitable structures on the substrate. Selective growth was acomplished with the use of the postnitridation method. Method of the pulse deposition was introduced with focus on increasing the volume of crystals.
The deposition of Ga and GaN nanostructures on silicon and graphene substrate
Mareš, Petr ; Hospodková,, Alice (referee) ; Mach, Jindřich (advisor)
Presented thesis is focused on the study of properties of Ga and GaN nanostructures on graphene. In the theoretical part of the thesis a problematics of graphene and GaN fabrication is discussed with a focus on the relation of Ga and GaN to graphene. The experimental part of the thesis deals with the depositions of Ga on transferred CVD-graphene on SiO2. The samples are analyzed by various methods (XPS, AFM, SEM, Raman spectroscopy, EDX). The properties of Ga on graphene are discussed with a focus on the surface enhanced Raman scattering effect. Furthermore, a deposition of Ga on exfoliated graphene and on graphene on a copper foil is described. GaN is fabricated by nitridation of the Ga structures on graphene. This process is illustrated by the XPS measurements of a distinct Ga peak and the graphene valence band during the process of nitridation.
Language and Style of Prosaic Works Written by Petra Dvořáková
Hlavatá, Lenka ; Mareš, Petr (advisor) ; Kuzmičová, Anežka (referee)
Diploma thesis entitled Language and Style of Petra Dvořáková's prose deals mainly with the use of substandard linguistic devices and their function in Petra Dvořáková's prose. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part introduces the author, her work and gives an outline of her position in contemporary Czech literary production. In the following chapters, the stratification and differentiation of the Czech language is discussed with an emphasis on the overview of non- literary linguistic devices. In the following, practical part, the thesis deals with the analysis of four prose works by Petra Dvořáková: Dědina (2018), Chirurg (2019), Vrány (2020) and Zahrada (2022). The analysis will be carried out according to the spelling/graphic, morphological, syntactic and lexical levels of their connection to the components of the text and their function. The thesis will conclude with an attempt to summarize all the information and to draw from it the findings that are characteristic of the author's style.
Comparison of language and style of professional and user reviews of literary works
Fuková, Gabriela ; Mareš, Petr (advisor) ; Saicová Římalová, Lucie (referee)
This thesis focuses on comparative analysis of style and language of professional and user reviews of the book Srdce Evropy. The theoretical part describes the evolution of language and style of computer mediated language since the beginning of the internet up to present day. The theoretical part also addresses criticism and reviews. On this basis we analyse reviews published on various internet platforms such as magazines specialized on literature and culture, mail, personal blogs, book databases and social media. In the last chapter, we offer a comparison of language and style of reviews written by professionals and users. Key words online literary criticism, professional reviews, user reviews, comparison of language and style
Register analysis of online journalism
Sulimenko, Konstantin ; Cvrček, Václav (advisor) ; Mareš, Petr (referee)
The aim of the study is to map the language variability among mainstream media, political tabloids, and antisystem media on the Czech internet. To achieve this goal, a multidimensional analysis was applied to a large sample of 5905 texts from the ONLINE2_ARCHIVE corpus. The results of the analysis reveal which linguistic features and dimensions are common to all online media, as well as what are the main language and register differences between mainstream and antisystem media.
Analysis of the linguistic landscape in the town centre of Hrádek nad Nisou
Frýdl, Hynek ; Adam, Robert (advisor) ; Mareš, Petr (referee)
The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on basic concepts and terminology, which are useful for describing the linguistic landscape. There are mentioned some divisions of texts (signs) in linguistic landscape (top-down × bottom-up, intentional × unintentional, permanent × event- related, translated × untranslated, division according to function of the text in the public space, ...) and some problems, in which could these divisions potentially result in. There is concretized, which divisions are used in the research, and which are not, and briefly discussed the issue of a visual pollution. The summarization of current interest in the linguistic landscape of the Czech Republic is also presented in this part. The last section of the theoretical part gives an overview of the history of the researched location (Hradek nad Nisou). Especially, it focuses on national structure of local population and the historical circumstances that have been influencing this structure in the 20th and the 21st century. The research part starts with a methodology of the data collection and the analysis and is followed by the research itself which is focused on languages in public space, the multilingualism and translations in connection with the structure of population of Hradek nad Nisou and its surrounding regions...
The Language of Czech Influencers on the Internet
Hozmanová, Anna ; Mareš, Petr (advisor) ; Saicová Římalová, Lucie (referee)
(anglicky) This bachelor's thesis deals with the language of Czech YouTubers in selected storytime videos. The aim of the thesis is to describe the linguistic means used in six audiovisual recordings of Czech female creators, to characterize the differences in the language of individual age categories and to verify the established hypothesis. The theoretical part of the work is dedicated to online social networks, the YouTube platform, its users, as well as production and spoken communication with consideration of internet communication. The analytical part of the work contains the methodology, an approach to the researched material and its selection criteria. Furthermore, it contains analyses of the language of selected speeches and interpretation of the ascertained results.
