The theme of this thesis is groundbreaking 70s and 80s playing the tuba. The work divided into four chapters and subchapters. In the first chapter I write about major tuba players 70s and 80s. The first chapter and its subchapters consider crucial part of this thesis. The second chapter presents the most important authors and their songs that were to develop playing the tuba very important. The third chapter is devoted to the International Association of tuba, which was created at that time and for progress in the style of playing the tuba, it was very important. The fourth chapter is devoted to an interview with Jim Self and Pavel Trnka.

The thesis deals with Recommened literature for tuba playing on elementary music school. Labour mentions the modern history of the tuba instrument. The main part provides an overview of the tuba literature – schools, etudes and excercises, solos and chamber and orchestra parts. Biographies of autors are connected with description what you can find in literature with their examples. I always noted recommendation for which classes are these materials appropriate. Pictures of modern tuba instruments are attached for the ilustration.

The theme of this bachelor thesis is the History of the Tuba. The aim of this work is to approach the reader a complete history and a gradual development up to today's modern instruments. The individual chapters contain the historical stage, in which the sub-chapters is then a chronological development of the tuba‘s instruments, which are then thoroughly described. To illustrate are accompanied by individual pictures of the instruments for a better overview in the evolution of the Tuba.

This magister thesis Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK and its brass section is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with the development of the orchestra since its foundation up to the present. The chapters from the second to the fourth focus on the brass section including the detailed artistic curriculum vitas of the current musicians. The second chapter is concentrated on the members of the trombone section (including also two members that play tube). The third chapter deals with the trumpet section while the fourth chapter deals with the section playing French horn.

The thesis deals with The Methodology of Tuba Playing for Beginners. The theme of the work is the development of the tuba instrument from history until now. Work brings the tuba methodological approaches supported by my own knowledge, experience and opinions. To each chapter intorduces basic methods of tuba playing. To every chapter practical excersise is attached for better understanding and tuba playing problems managing. Pictures of historical instruments, a tuba parts description and a pose of the tuba players body while playing, position mouthpiece and embouchure are attached for the ilustration.
The Czech Philharmonic and its Players the Tube

My thesis deals with The Czech Philharmonic and its players the tube. This thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is aimed about the history of the orchestra and their noted conductors. The second part introduce the individual players the tube who were members of the Czech Philharmonic. I mean that this part is the pivotal part of my thesis. There is also the third part in my thesis that presents the interview with Karel Malimánek, the contemporary player the tube of the Czech Philharmonic. I enclose the CD with the photos conductors and the players the tube as the attachement.
Technical nature of brass instruments

This thesis contains informations about basic physical and acoustic attributes of musical instruments. It also explains the principle of natural and temperated tuning and their relation. The thesis is focused on the brass instruments, their physical properties and limits. In the last chapter is then explained in detail physical functioning of the trombone on example of two-valve base trombone. Everything is explained for person with musical and non-science knowledge.

The main goal of this thesis was to process the information about important woman trombonists performers that worked mainly in the symphonic orchestras all over the world. The thesis contain biography of those women interprets and describe beginning of theirs careers in music, study and achievement in competitions and auditions which they participate.
Koleta`s mining music Rtyně v Podkrkonoší

This thesis deals with the history of the wind orchestra Koletova Hornická Hudba from Rtyně v Podkrkonoší, with the brass music festival Koletova Rtyně, and with the major figures connected with the orchestra. The orchestra has a rich history and in 2014 it is going to celebrate its 150-year-long existence. Since its foundation the orchestra has never stopped its activities and has come through all setbacks. The festival Koletova Rtyně is one of the oldest festivals of the big wind orchestras in the Czech Republic. Its origin dates back to the cooperative concert of the orchestras from Rtyně and Kolín in1960. The 50th year of the Festival is going to be held in 2014. Eminent personages who mainly influenced Koletova hornická hudba are above all Koletas brothers - the orchestra was named after them, and Zdeněk Tlučhoř who is running the orchestra nowadays.
