MAJEROVÁ, Adéla
The bachelor thesis aims to describe the integration of children with Treacher Collins syndrome into the preschool education. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, Integration, Inclusion and especially the issue of Treacher Collins syndrome are defined with the help of relevant sources. Treacher Collins syndrome is a very rare syndrome that is unknown to the majority of the population. The part of the work devoted to Treacher Collins syndrome contains information that is based mainly on foreign sources, it initially describes the ethology and possible diagnosis of the syndrome. Furthermore, the work focuses on the typical symptoms that appear to varying degrees in most wearers and on their treatment using surgery, which are also extensively described here. As part of special pedagogical care, the work also focuses on helping in the development of a child with Treacher Collins syndrome through early care and subsequent care in the Special Pedagogical Center. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the education of children with Treacher Collins syndrome. The practical part is written in the form of qualitative research through semi-structured interviews. The practical part consists of three case studies of girls with Treacher Collins syndrome aged 5-8 years, which are based on interviews with parents and teachers of previously mentioned girls.
