Economic diplomacy of Czech republic in China

This diploma theses connects two recent topics - economic diplomacy and China. The theses is divided into for chapters. In the first one we looked at economic diplomacy from a general view - definitions, models of economic diplomacy. In the second chapter the thesis followed up economic diplomacy in Czech republic. Then the thesis focused on economic relations between Czech republic and China mostly on trade with goods. In the fourth chapter, using questionnaires and SWOT analysis, the thesis evaluated Czech economic diplomacy in China
The business environment of Belgium

The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate the business environment of Belgium from the point of view of Czech entities. The partial objectives are identifying the advantages and disadvantages of the environment, identifying any obstacles and complications that might occur when entering the Belgian market. To top of that the thesis contains the identification of perspective sectors that could be used by Czech entrepreneurs. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is general, it is about the business environment, charts of competitiveness and PEST analysis. The second chapter applies the findings from the first chapter to Belgium. The third chapter is about the business environment of Belgium from the point of view of Czech entrepreneurs. The fourth chapter is practical, including interviews about the topic.

The aim is to analyze the aspects of the business environment of Finland according to PEST analysis and based on this analysis to identify the main advantages and disadvantages of finnish business environment. Business environment of Austria

The aim of this master thesis is to evaluate the business environment of Austria. Another goal of the thesis is to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the Austrian market and to specify the opportunities that the Austrian market offers to Czech companies. To achieve these goals PEST analysis and several indexes and rankings are used. The thesis is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter, several definitions of business environment are introduced as well as theoretical information about PEST analysis and indexes of chosen world organisation. The information gathered in the first chapter is subsequently applied to Austria in the second chapter. The third chapter focuses more on the relations between the Czech republic and Austria, considering the balance of trade, possibilities how to enter the Austrian market and cultural specifics of Austria. Whether the information acquired in the first three chapters corresponds with the current situation on the market will be verified by means of several interviews with professionals from this field.
The business and cultural specifics of Turkey

The main objective of my bachelor thesis is to characterize economic, business and cultural aspects of Turkey. The first chapter is devoted to the basic characteristics of Turkey, specifically to geographic conditions, history, demographic data, political system, membership in major international organizations and economic information. The first chapter deals also with the issue of migration. In the second chapter I focus on Turkey´s foreign trade, including the trade with the Czech Republic or European Union. The third chapter is devoted to the culture of Turkey and its impact on business negotiations.
Business relations between Slovak republic and France

This thesis deals with the analysis of business cooperation between the Slovak Republic and France including cultural and business particularities of both countries. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter gives general information about France. The second chapter is focused on economic characteristics of France. The third chapter provides an analysis of foreign trade of both countries in terms of territorial and commodity and analysis of their mutual business cooperation . The fourth chapter describes cultural specifics and business customs of France and Slovakia.
Business and Cultural Specifics of Cuba

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize general information about Cuba, Cuban current economic situation and predominantly cultural and business specifics. The first chapter deals with the geographical and political position of Cuba, population, history, economic structure, main macroeconomic indicators and economic potential. The second chapter focuses on foreign trade and gives information about relationships between Cuba and the US and Cuba and the EU. The third chapter is devoted to the Cuban culture, their customs and traditions, art, the status of women and is complemented by knowledge from a Cuban student. The last chapter analyses the course and specifics of business negotiations and is supported by information from Czech and Slovak companies, which have already entered the Cuban market.
Support of market entry of Danish companies to Czech market

This bachelor´s thesis focuses on the current economic situation in Denmark and the comparison with the Czech Republic. Moreover, it analyses the support of market entry and possible forms of support for Danish companies entering the Czech market with focus on The Trade Council located in the Czech Republic. In the last chapter, I demonstrate the practical assistance of The Trade Council given to a chosen Danish company entering the Czech market.
Czech-Norwegian business cooperation with regards to cultural differences

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of business relations between the Czech Republic and Norway in terms of trade and cultural differences. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter focuses on the general characteristic of Norway. The second chapter characterizes Norway from the economic point of view. The third chapter deals with the Czech-Norwegian business cooperation. The fourth chapter includes information about the specific Norwegian culture, cultural differences between the Czech Republic and Norway and business meetings with Norwegians. The fifth chapter is devoted to surveys with Czech businessmen who have experience with negotiations with Norwegian business partners.
Czech-Swiss trade relations

The main goal of the thesis is to analyze trade relations between the Czech republic and Switzerland. The thesis also includes analysis of the Swiss attitude towards the European union and presents cultural and trade specifics of Switzerland. The first chapter characterizes Switzerland in general and economically. The second chapter deals with bilateral relations between Switzerland and the European union. The third chapter describes trade relations between Switzerland and the Czech republic, the development of the trade balance between these two countries and possible development of their trade relations in the future. The fourth chapter is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical section is based on the concept of cultural dimensions introduced by Geert Hofstede and Gert Jan Hofstede and compares the Swiss and the Czech culture. The practical section is focused on the Czech view of business negotiations with the Swiss and contains evaluation of questionnaires that were filled in by Czech employees who cooperate with the Swiss on a daily basis.
