Determination of mechanical properties of light metals and alloys and composites via small punch test
Langer, Jiří ; Dobeš, Ferdinand (referee) ; Válka, Libor (advisor)
The aim of diploma thesis is estimate mechanical properties (yield strength, maximum strength and elongation) of light alloys by means of SPT. For the experiments were selected aluminium alloys (Al 2024, Al 6082 T6, Al 7020 and NASA 398) magnesium alloys (MgZnMn, AZ31, AZ61) and composites (AZ91 + 20 % saffilu a Al + Al4C3). Theoretical part of this thesis is focused on analysis of conversion formulas, which were made from SPT data and conventional testing. Experimental part is dedicated to evaluation of experimental data and critical analysis validity of conversion formulas. In this part of thesis is discused the problematics of reproducibility methodology of SPT.
The Proposal Marketing Management of Company
Bata, Jiří ; Langer, Jiří (referee) ; Petráš, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to assess the current situation and propose appropriate marketing management of joint-stock company Moravian ceramic factories with business activities in the field of metallurgy and foundry.
Building insulation influence on heat consumption
Langer, Jiří ; Košner, Jan (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is to study heat consumption and to specify real savings of heat after applying thermal insulation. These real savings will be compared with the savings, which were theoretically quantified. Main part of this thesis studies different types of thermal insulation and ways of applying of the thermal insulation. The histogram, which shows savings from settlement units at Vinohrady, Líšeň, Kamenný vrch and Slatina is also part of the thesis. Schema, which shows tendency of correct, ordinary and incorrect thermal insulation can be also found in this work. We analyze teoretical solution of savings on street Oblá no. 56 with real measurements.
UML and model driven development
LANGER, Jiří
The UML language currently presents functional norm which is used during application development at analysis and design stage. Actual version 2.0 offers total of 13 different diagram types, which cover miscellaneous phases of application development. The goal of this dissertation work is to briefly summarize progress of the UML language, to present current state and to show the potential usage of certain subset of this language in opening courses of programming for both bachelor students and students of pedagogy. In this connection will be necessary to focus on finding suitable software tool (for educational needs), which would be possible to use in the opening course or eventually in tuition of special modelling focused courses. The author of dissertation work will prepare concrete project propositions and resolutions for tuition in opening course with the usage of the UML. The inspiration for these projects may be the ``Objects First with Java{\crqq} book and also sources on the web. I see the focal point of the work in use of the UML language to prepare bachelor students and students of pedagogy for derive benefits from actual technologies both in the developer and educational profession.
Structure and dynamics of shell sources in general relativity
Turnovec, Aleš ; Žofka, Martin (advisor) ; Langer, Jiří (referee)
Cylindrically symmetric shell sources are studied and a general form of induced energy-momentum tensor of a collapsing shell is presented. The actual movement of the shell is numerically solved for a case when dynamics of the system is determined by energy conservation per unit length. It is then shown that additional assumptions can prevent the collapse, e. g. induced energy-momentum tensor as perfect fluid or null dust of counter-rotating particles. Collapse can be prevented also by introducing Thorne's C-energy into the system.
Model Problems of the Theory of Gravitation
Pilc, Marián ; Bičák, Jiří (advisor) ; Langer, Jiří (referee) ; Balek, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Model Problems of the Theory of Gravitation Author: Marián Pilc Department: Institute of Theoretical Physics Faculty of Mathematics and Physics Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Jiří Bičák, DrSc., dr. h. c., Institute of Theoretical Physics Faculty of Mathematics and Physics Abstract: Equations of motion for general gravitational connection and orthonormal coframe from the Einstein-Hilbert type action of the Einstein-Cartan theory are derived. Ad- ditional gauge freedom is geometrically interpreted. Our formulation does not fix coframe to be tangential to spatial section hence Lorentz group is still present as part of gauge freedom. 3+1 decomposition introduces tangent Minkowski structures hence Hamilton-Dirac approach to dynamics works with Lorentz connection over spatial sec- tion. The second class constraints are analyzed and Dirac bracket is defined.Reduction of phase space is performed and canonical coordinates are introduced. The second part of this thesis is dedicated to quantum formulation of Einstein-Cartan theory. Point version of Einstein-Cartan phase space is introduced. Basic variables, crucial for quan- tization, are derived via groups acting on the phase space and their selfadjoint represen- tation is found. Representation of basic variables of Einstein-Cartan theory is derived via infinite...
