Trávníček, David ; Sloup, Roman (advisor) ; Kunt, Miroslav (referee)
In mining and quarrying, carried out surface (whoesale quarry) technologies with large scale devastation of cultural landscape, the equilibrium of the natural ecosystem and also to move and store large amounts of soil material skrývaného. The mining work should be completed by the successful rehabilitation and restoration of land reclaimed their original purpose. The aim is to evaluate the current development of forestry reclamation in the Sokolov coal basin, perform the calculation and assessment of the individual methods of forestry land reclamation, hit siege works. Perform the economic evaluation of the effectiveness of forestry reclamation and evaluated to determine the economic efficiency of forestry reclamation. According to a growing economic results were evaluated forests these species: sessile oak, oak, spruce and larch on dumps William and Big Riesl. By comparing the results obtained using the above procedures was found, when calculating income from timber production unprofitable forestry reclamation projects, but after the inclusion of other functions of forests calculation results were positive in all cases. As the most effective based sessile oak stands, followed by stands of spruce and oak summer.
Analysis of project- and tender prices of arboricultural treatments within project Greenery restoration in group of communities Novoborsko
Sviták, Jan ; Kunt, Miroslav (advisor) ; Miroslav, Miroslav (referee)
SUMMARY The first chapter of my dissertation is set on the problematics of greenery in villages and cities and characterization of activities that are realized in the project The common solution in the care of the native landscape where the inventarization of trees in the region of the Union of the Novoborsko villages is processed, with the utilization of standard metodics of technical state meassuring of trees, analysis of the state of vegetation zones and the singular trees with the use of ISAT metodics and measurements. With the measurements acquired in this project was founded the project: Regeneration of the greenery in the Union of the Novoborsko villages. The aim of this work is comparison of real prizes in individual arrangements with the prizes of transparent open competitions. The work contains summary of prizes of these arrangements in the individual villages and cities in the Union. In the next stage are the main section of open competitions and the output acquired from the prize offers of individual companies involved in these competitions. The last stage of this work contain outputs and the realization of next stages of the The common solution in care of the greenery project and the preparation of the Regeneration of the greenery in the Union of the Novoborsko villages project. The outputs shows common and widely known truth that the projected prizes of the projects are way off in comparsion with the offered prizes of companies which partakes in the open competitions . This work proved that final prize of the starting prizes in the competitive tendering is significantly lowered in the end. Specifically saying, the prize of the winning prizes is lowered for about a third for the whole project, but even equally in the partial prizes of the items. After comparsion analysis of prius, using the application of prizes listed in the ÚRS price lists in combination with real prizes of arboristic companies it gives us a common rules how to prepare a request for grants linked with projects of the solutions in the care of greenery.Practical and theoretical skills of the realized project Regeneration of the greenery in the Union of the Novoborsko villages were used. In my opinion the main aim of these outputs can be in the usage of the realization and the preparation of the projects linked with the care of the greenery and woody plants that villages and towns in Liberec region make, because the situation is similar like in the Union of the Novoborsko villages. I believe that this work may improve the not so good state of greenery and the better budget making of small villages.
Inventory of woody plants in an area of 'Červený vrch' in Prague 6 and elaboration of the digital map of this selected area
Táborská, Anna ; Kunt, Miroslav (advisor) ; Prokeš, Radek (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the current condition of flora located on the housing estate Červený Vrch in the municipal district Prague 6. The inventoried area is situated in the north-eastern part of the housing estate between the streets of Evropská st. and Horoměřická st. In this territory the woody plants have been inventoried according to Machovec (1982). The individual components of the local dendroflora have been indentified and localised in a work map or, eventually, by GPS coordinates. Based on the beforementioned localization a digital map of woody plants was created using the AutoCAD software. Furthermore the values of age and height of the local woody plants were measured and the landscaping value was determined. All the beforementioned values were imported to the inventory tables, which were created using the Microsoft Excel software and are a part of the thesis results. In the literature search there is a short summary of the history of the garden art. Furthermore there is a chapter devoted to the historical evolution of the urban flora, the urbanism of the 20th century and the creation of housing estates in Prague. The presented thesis also contains chapters devoted to the important persons of the urbanism movement, such as Ebenezer Howard and Le Corbusier, who played a major part in the emergence of flora into the cities. The Ebenezer Howard theory of the garden city is analysed in detail. The next part of the research is dedicated to the landscape creation, its values and division. The final part is devoted to the urban greenery and its division and importance. The sole area of Vokovice in Prague, where the Červený Vrch housing estate is located, is described in detail in the Chapter named the materials and methods. In particular, the nature characterization of landscape, the history of Vokovice housing estate and the construction of a prefab housing estate from around the time of 60s and 70s are analysed. The used methods of invetorying according to Machovec (1982) and subsequently the process of invetorying are described. The second half of this thesis consists of the inventory tables and the visual and verbal evaluation of the beforementioned tables. From the results it is evident that the largest portion of 60% of woody plants is represented by deciduous shrubs, and hence there are plenty of their growths. This is mainly caused by the large number of seeding trees present. Thereafter the most frequently present tree species and their measured characteristics are evaluated. Finally, there is a comparison of the methods of inventorying according to Machovec and the classification of woody vegetation elements by Miloš Pejchal.
Timber iventory in part area of Petřiny and digital map of its area.
Vepřeková, Olga ; Kunt, Miroslav (advisor) ; Vaněk, Jindřich (referee)
The prior goal of this bachelor thesis was to map a part of Petřiny district. To fill the inventory files Machovec method was used. The trees were selected as follows: broadleaved trees, evergreebns, shrubs and perennials. And individuals were attached with codes. These codes were used in order to have clear view in the AutoCAD maps. The trees were measured to get the log diameter, the width of the treetop, the height and further to get the age of the tree and ornamental value. As for shrubs the log diameter and the age were not considered. Perennials were just coded. After adding all parameters as from inventory files the codes were entered into the AutoCAD maps. During collecting of data photodocumantation was made and then uploaded on mapserver. The text part includes the literature review where the issues of the public greenery and public spaces are described, the greenery is presented and considered its values for the enviroment, mankind and animals. Next chapter describes the area of district Petřiny. Nature characteristics, history, Machovec method, detailed description of the measurements are dealt with. In the results the inventory templates are inserted and the current situation is described using graphs. In the chapter discusssion the situation is valued subjectively using esthetic and composition views. Further on the problem of public spaces and greenery is considered. There are 976 trees and shrubs ( 572 broadleaved trees, 294 shrubs, 119 evergreens and 36 are perennials).

Manmade living spaces that respect the laws of nature and friendly approach to the environment, maybe so called as Bio Houses. Surname Bio Solar Houses are named those with maximal use of solar energy. Part of this project is overview of various types of natural buildings, possibilities of using natural materials and approaches to the use of solar power. Own design presents study of the family earth house and garden project of a plot. For project was selected building side in a calm location of Prague Troja. This sloping plot is oriented at South so it gives the best conditions for this building concept. The house benefits from all positives of the earth buildings. Mainly perfect thermal insulation and acoustics properties, which are connected with saving energy. There is moreover interior accumulative wall, which increases heat gains during the winter season. Ventilation system, heating and cooling use vertical ground heat pump and ground heat exchanger. Hot water is prepared by Solar panels with support of photovoltaic system. Rain water is collected for further use. Garden reflects the character of family house, natural conditions of the place and the purpose of use. It is designed for relaxation, active leisure time and for utility. Important role plays a psychological effect coming from choice of elements, especially small garden architecture, materials, tree planting, perennials and interactions of overall composition. The plot has complex design with use of natural environmental properties to create space for living. According to the laws of nature garden never serves only for humans, it is also home for many representatives of small animals and vegetation.
Reinventory of woody plants in Libosad CULS area
Dvořáková, Pavlína ; Kunt, Miroslav (advisor) ; Broscheová, Lucie (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with an inventory and reinventory of woody plants in Libosad on Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague campus. One part of the inventory is entering woody plants inventoried in the digitized maps in AutoCad and create tables. Another part of my work is a photo documentation of the trees and also downloading the photos on mapserver.cz. The literature review discusses the green vegetation, its functions and importance, compares the differences between botanical gardens, arboretum and school gardens. In the part, dealing with materials and methods, is written about the Czech University of Life Sciences campus and Libosad, its history and natural conditions. There is also described the method of woody plants inventory according to Machovec (1982), which was selected in my own reinventory. Data for the updating inventory maps and tables were obtained by older students. Firstly, it was necessary to update plan of the areas in the places where changes were done. Secondly, were inventoryed newly planted trees and shrubs, that were included to map and tables. Finally, was done the control of the overall conditions of the area, compared with map's data, ie. removing the dead trees from the map, checking inventory data, especially about fast-growing trees, dominant trees, trees with considerably good or conversely poor health. The results show that currently in the arboretum Libosad located 1505 peaces of inventoried trees, shurbs and groups of woody plants and 349 groups of perennial vegetation. The number of taxa is about 1000 species of woody plants and their cultivars and 300 varieties and cultivars of perennials and grasses. In total, in the arboretum is 350 woody plants species represented in 105 genera. In landscape value of the trees and shurbs condition dominates the 3rd classification group, then 2, 4 and 1.
Dog and Woody Plant
Macková, Eva ; Kunt, Miroslav (advisor) ; Buttry, Ivana (referee)
The thesis deals with the topic Dog and tree species as part of the history and present life in our society. The aim of this thesis is to determine how strong and equal place a dog and wood in the Czech Republic have and which interactions between them can occur. According to the fact that the care, attitude and responsibility are given by laws governed by the Czech Republic and individual towns and villages, the thesis is mapping the current situation in selected districts of the city of Prague 6 and Prague Suchdol, as part of the capital Prague. The thesis is divided into 3 parts. The first part is focused on describing the relationship of a dog and tree species in our country and nation which demonstrates their stable position without the need to compare. The second part is based on literature and available resources. It works with partial factors that may be relevant in possible interaction. It draws on the knowledge of modern cynology, especially the knowledge of the current activities of the dog and its ethology and on current knowledge in the field of dendrology, with emphasis on the selection of trees that are suitable for human settlements while they are in our territory as a native species. Within ethology the thesis describes the behavior of dogs along with the potential interaction with wood arising therefrom, including poisonous trees which the dog may come in contact with. The third part deals with specific situations associated with the free movement of dogs in Prague as a whole and focuses on some of its parts. Currently, this issue is very topical in Prague and no decision of the final form of the governing ordinance has not been made yet by the Prague City Council.
Assessment of current status, historical research and design of reconstruction of selected parts of the park at Research Institute of Crop Production in Prague
Vopičková, Lucie ; Kunt, Miroslav (advisor) ; Miroslav, Miroslav (referee)
The goal of the presented diploma thesis is to propose a reconstruction of a selected part of the Research Institute of Crop Production (RICP) in Prague (Czech Republic). The proposition is based on an evaluation of the current state as well as on a historical investigation of the studied area. The 5ha compound of the RICP is situated at the territory of Prague, the Capital City in the Prague 6 - Ruzyně quarter. The complex is from three sides surrounded by fields. Inside, it includes a decorative garden, which was founded in 30ies of the 20th century. At that time, the function of such garden was of a pure educational purpose - it was used as visual aids for students of the Provincial Pomological Institute that had been located there. This exact utilization lies behind the important amount of rare decorative woody plants that we still find there. The premises are currently in a good state. More than half of woody plants rank among the most valuable and very valuable ones. Nowadays, the area of the RICP is not accessible for the public so that the garden can be used only be the employees of the institute. Based on source data, a proposition of the reconstruction of the central part, which includes the main building and its surrounding decorative garden, has been created. Even if this part should be the most representative of the RICP, the related (required) atmosphere is not currently reached. This is the reason why a reconstruction has been proposed - to increase the actual level of the studied area and to restore its original function. The main idea consists in preservation of the current vegetation cover and in restoration or addition of some technical elements, which are nowadays not satisfactory. This includes mainly: path surfaces, pergola, benches, waste bins and lamps. An extra enrichment of the free grass area, situated in the central part of the garden and visible from the entrance to the building, is also dealt with. In addition, the diploma thesis provides a photographical documentation of the current state of the studied area, inventory tables and graphical supplements of the reconstruction project as well as the inventory plans of the whole area.
