Mechanical analysis of lifting equipment
Kubík, Matej ; Hájek, Petr (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thensis is a mechanical analysis of the lifting device with regard to the passive effects in the bonds. At the same time, it should serve as a additional teaching materialfor students of statics and dynamics. The first part of the work is therefore dedicated to a brief overview of lifting devices, but especially the basic concepts of statics and dynamics. The work then deals with the calculation of the driving torque (force pair) and analysis of the results for the various situations of the lifting device that may occur.
Computational modelling of isovolumic contraction of left ventricle
Kubík, Matej ; Burša, Jiří (referee) ; Vaverka, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with computational modelling of isovolumic contraction of the left heart ventricle by using finite element method. Part of the thesis includes research on the anatomy and physiology of the heart, where the structure of the heart muscle is analyzed in more detail. The passive mechanical response of the model reflects this very structure. It is included in the computational model by using a reduced Holzapfel & Ogden hyperelastic model. The active tension of muscle fibers, which is a consequence of electrical stimulation, is included in the model by the so-called active stress approach. A main goal of thesis is the implementation and testing of this approach in ANSYS program with the help of subroutine Usermat.

Sestavení, vyladění a otestování přípravku na destrukci buněk laserovým paprskem
KUBÍK, Jan Matěj
The aim of this thesis was to assembly a device which would work as a tool for destruction of the living cells near the laser beam focus. First part of the thesis deals with scheme of the device and description of its individual elements. Second part is focused on possible ways of controlling linear translation stages and shutter by PC software. Third part is about using the actual device on biological materials and about suggested designs of optimization.
