Commemorative book of herring sellers in the Prague New Town

The topic of this diploma thesis is the Commemorative Book of Prague Nydrlak, whose origins date back to the 17th century in the Prague New Town. The records in the book were written mainly by the merchants who travelled to Prague to trade. Most of those merchants were most likely involved in the international trade with marine fish that were imported from the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. Due to the representative role of commemorative books, the majority of the merchants received their illuminations from professional artists. The introductory chapters of the thesis describe contemporary practice of business of the given period, specifics of Nydrlak in the context of the practice, the commemorative book culture of the 16th and 17th century, but also the fortunes of Nydrlak before its depositing into the Prague City Archives. A pivotal part ofthe paper is dedicated to the merchants themselves who would left some information about their lives in the book. Based on this source and several other archival documents, the thesis assesses the confessional, societal, regional, and proprietary stratification of the community that was assembled around Prague Nydrlak.

TITLE: The use of the child songs lyrics in literary education at primary school SUMMARY: The subject of this dissertation are the texts of children's songs and composited poetry for children and their using in teaching literary education at primary school. The tagret to achieve was to develop a series of literary education lessons built on the principles of constructivist teaching methods using work with interactive text. Based on the assumption that work with the song leads students to a sensitive perception and understanding of texts, the recitation and the development of children's reading skills. Result of this work is a series of ten lesser-known songs with a specific practical methods of working with text in which the student actively participates. The Application of Marketing Management in a Chosen Company

The main objective of my thesis is to elaborate fundamental theoretic data related to marketing management. Later on, these elaborated theoretical principles will be applied to a particular enterprise and then an analysis of marketing management will be carried out. Subsequently, the management of the chosen firm will be evaluated and proposals for certain measures, which should lead to the improvement of the situation of the firm, will also be submitted.
