A Case Study of Audio on Demand Platform Spotify

This bachelor thesis is about the audio streaming company Spotify. The thesis aims to introduce and map the current form of the on-demand streaming platform Spotify. The theoretical part, using literature, introduces basic concepts related to the topic of the thesis, such as the concept of on-demand, the freemium payment model and other payment types of on- demand service providers. It also describes how music distribution works, copyright in the music streaming industry, advantages and disadvantages of on-demand services and analyses the competition. The second part of the thesis is a case study of Spotify. The introduction presents the company as well as its main ideas and the tools it uses. Then, the user experience of Spotify is discussed in detail, which can help to give a closer look at the current trends in the on-demand platform environment.

Modern technologies in e-learning

This thesis is focused on the educational theories, forms of training, development and types of e - learning. Then there are mentioned new online educational technologies, pros and cons of on-line learning and its trends (gamification, social learning, MOOCs, etc.). This theoretical knowledge is necessary for understanding the principles of the on-line education and importance of massive open online courses. One part of the practical section concentrates on the results of a questionnaire regarding the presence of on- line technologies in a student learning. Another part reflects the aim of the thesis and generally analyses the possibilities of the university involvement in MOOC. Specifically, it states the conditions and process of college involvement in the German educational platform iversity.

European Territorial Cooperation with an example of the selected project

This bachelor thesis deals with the Regional and Structural Policy of the European Union and focuses on its third objective "European Territorial Cooperation" that is often left out due to the lowest financial allocation. My thesis analyses single operational programs within European Territorial Cooperation, their succession of previous programs, financial allocation and priority axes. Large attention is payed to Cross-border Cooperation concerning the Czech Republic, esp. to Cross-border Cooperation between Austria and the Czech Republic. Finally, I introduce the concrete project within OP CR-Austria and describe a procedure of projectś implementation in detail. Activities that are performed within European Territorial Cooperation do not have to be very costly to bring results.

Textile Industry in the Czech Republic - the transformation and the actual trends

In this bachelor work I attend to an impact of the transformation process and the actual trends of the textile industry in the Czech Republic in the connection with the world global crisis. This work defines basic processes and phenomena related to the issue of localization of the industrial enterprises, it explains the historical development of this line and assesses the stages by which the textile industry has gone through. It also maps the textile industry in the revolutionary year, deals with the beginnings of the transformation process and assesses the effects of the transformation processes which occurred during the 90´s of the 20th century. The next section observes the period in the beginning of the 21st century and further more there are elaborated the actual trends of the textile industry, the actual stage of the line, including today?s most successful textile businesses. At the end, there are suggested the possibilities of the trend. The text is supplemented by graphs, charts and cartograms, which are processed on the basis of the economic indicators.
