Dipicolylamine modified with a bis(phosphinate) group
Jaroš, Adam ; Kubíček, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Matulková, Irena (referee)
Ligand DPABPin was synthesized by Mannich reaction. Acid-base properties of the ligand were studied by potentiometric titrations. Protonation constants and stability constants of complexes with Cu2+ , Zn2+ and Ni2+ were determined. Cu2+ and Ni2+ complexes were isolated and their geometry was determined using X-Ray diffraction analysis.
Ligand systems for zirconium complexation
Hacaperková, Eliška ; Kubíček, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Pavel (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to synthesize new kind of macrocyclic ligands for complexation of Zr4+ . Zirconium(IV) complexes have potential as contrast agents in immuno-PET. Three macrocyclic ligands L1, L2 and L3 with dif- ferent pendant arms (HOPO, maltol, hydroxamate) were designed. Despite numerous attempts syntheses of L1 and L2 were unsuccessful. Ligand L3 was synthesized and the protonation constants were determined by poten- tiometric titration. Complexes [Zr4+ (L3)] were studied too. Catechol ligand L4 was prepared and complexes with cations Zn2+ , Ga3+ and Zr4+ were investigated. 1
Aminophosphinic acids
Kruliš, Tomáš ; Kubíček, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Gyepes, Róbert (referee)
Two phosphinic acids were prepared: 1-hydroxy-ethan-1,1-bis[N,N- bis(karboxymethyl)aminomethyl]phosphinic acid; H6L1 and methylenebis[N,N- bis(karboxymethyl)aminomethyl]phosphinic acid; H6L2 . Acid-base and complexation properties were studied by potenciometric titrations. Complexes of both ligands with Cu2+ ions were studied in detail using UV/VIS spectrometry. Keywords: Organophosphorus synthesis, bisphosphinic acids, coordination properties
Coordination properties of TACN ethylphosphonic derivative
Poláková, Zuzana ; Kubíček, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Schulz, Jiří (referee)
Ligand NOTPOEt was synthesized. Protonation constants and stability constants of Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II) and Ga(III) complexes were determined by potentiometric titrations. Cu(II) complex was characterized by UV-VIS spectroscopy and formation of Ga(III) complex was studied by NMR spectroscopy. The work was aimed at characterisation of the ligand with respect to potential application in biomedical imaging techniques.
Salts of heteroaromatic compounds for NLO
Basová, Miriam ; Němec, Ivan (advisor) ; Kubíček, Vojtěch (referee)
The main target of this bachelor's thesis is the preparation and characterization of novel compounds with expected non-linear optical properties. Starting material for the preparation of new salts was 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazine. These salts or co-crystals were prepared by the crystallization with selected inorganic and organic acids. The methods of infrared and Raman spectroscopy along with X-ray diffraction methods were used to characterize the prepared materials. Moreover, the NLO potential of selected molecules was proven by quantum − chemical calculations. These calculations were also used for the interpretation of the vibrational spectra. Finally, the structures with non-centrosymmetric assembly were examined for the second harmonic generation efficiency in powdered samples. Keywords: non-linear optics, 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazine, vibrational spectroscopy, structural analysis
Coordination properties of NOTA monoamide
Kubinec, Jan ; Kubíček, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Matulková, Irena (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to prepare monoamide of macrocycle NOTA, which was successfully prepared and fully characterized. Acid-base properties were investigated by potentiometric titration and four protonation constants were found, which are lower than pKa ` s of NOTA ligand. Coordination properties with selected ions from the first row of transition metals were investigated. Stability constants of studied complexes are also lower than the same complexes with NOTA ligand. Key words: macrocyclic complexes, positron emission tomography, thermodynamic stability, formation kinetic, radiopharmaceuticals
TACN derivatives bearing aminophosphinate pendant arms
Beranová, Tereza ; Kubíček, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Němec, Ivan (referee)
The aim of this work was studying of the coordination properties of TACN macrocyclic derivatives with aminophosphinate pendant arms. Two ligands were prepared, one with two pendant arms NODPam and one with three pendant arms NOTPam. Because of degradation of ligand NODPam during its synthesis, only the ligand NOTPam was studied further. Acid-base properties of ligand and termodynamic stability of aluminium and gallium complexes were studied. Formation and disociation studies were performed with the complexes. Coordination of fluoride ions to aluminium complex was studied using ion selective fluoride electrode. Finally coordination of complex AlFx with ligand NOTPam was studied using 19F and 27Al NMR spectroscopy. Selected experiments were made also with ligand NOTA. Key words: macrocyclic complexes, positron emission tomography, phosphinic acids
Polydentate aminodiphosphinates
Böhmová, Zuzana ; Kubíček, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Pavel (referee)
Two linear aminodiphosphinates (H3L1 , H5L2 ) and one cyclic aminodiphosphinate (H2L3 ) were prepared and studied. Newly prepared compounds were characterized by NMR, MS and EA (elemental analysis). Acid-base and coordination properties of ligands were studied. Protonation constants and stability constants of complexes with Zn2+ , Ni2+ and Cu2+ metal ions were determined by potentiometry. Keywords Ligands, dissociation constants, potentiometry, phosphinates, complexes.
