KUBÁTOVÁ, Kateřina
Teaching is among the professions with the highest risk of occupational burnout. Even though this issue was described and discussed in detail many times before, no effective solution has been found so far. In my bachelor thesis, I will focus on the work load of high school teachers and how to cope with it. In the theoretical part I will explain basic terms such as work load, stress, occupational burnout and stress prevention. In the practical part I will analyze the level of work load on Secondary Technical School in Klatovy. I will also describe methods used to cope with the stress.

Kubátová, Kateřina ; Drobník, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Franková, Martina (referee)
Aquisition of Ownership of Land The purpose of the Master's degree thesis is to define and give a complex description of basic legal forms of acquiring ownership right to land and describe the process of obtaining the ownership right to land. The core piece of legislation governing this question is the Civil Code supported by many other laws. There are many citations of the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court decisions used in the text to support the statutes. These decisions are necessary when law does not provide with clear explanations and so the court gives the interpretation. This paper in many places mentions the proposed Civil Code which brings many substantial changes to the Czech law. This paper consists of five chapters. They all relate to each other however they deal with different topics and describe important issues for the overall understanding. They are ranged logically from the basic general issues and historical outline to specific ways of obtaining ownership right to land and their evidence in the Real Estate Registry. For information purposes, there is a chapter paid to English land law principles compared to the Czech land law. The first part of the thesis is introductory and explains the basic terminology which is used in the text and is crucial for understanding the...

The International Regime of the Prohibition of Biological Weapons
Kubátová, Kateřina ; Kochan, Jan (advisor) ; Trávníčková, Zuzana (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the international regime of the prohibition of biological weapons. It theoretically delimits the regime by defining the terms international regime and biological weapon. The objective of this thesis is to evaluate the effectivity of the international regime of the prohibition of biological weapons and to delineate its presumable evolution in the future. The thesis presents the historical development and the use of biological weapons, their prohibition until the completion of the international regime of the prohibition of biological weapons in its narrowest form. It also focuses on the analysis of the normative pillars which support the narrowly defined regime. The pillars are the Geneva Protocol (1925) and the Biological Weapons Convention. This thesis summarizes the most important events that occurred during the negotiations over the lifetime of the regime. It provides an assessment of the international regime of the prohibition of biological weapons based on the criteria of efficiency, which in this case is seen as the ability to enforce compliance with the regime, verify that it is respected and if not, as the ability to punish the violators. Given the current regime condition and the ongoing discussions relevant to the topic, the presumable evolution of the regime in the future is delineated. In conclusion, based on the chosen methodology, the international regime of the prohibition of biological weapons seems to be rather ineffective, however, in the future there may be an improvement.
Rezistence blýskáčka řepkového (Meligethes aeneus, Fabr. 1775) k pesticidům na vybraných lokalitách jižní Moravy
Kubátová, Kateřina
My thesis is devoted to the resistance of pollen beetle (Meligethes aeneus, son. Brassicogethes aeneus Fabricius, 1775) to pesticides in selected localities in southern Moravia. Collecting adults was performed in the spring of 2013 by tapped into polyethylene bags. Adults are collected from the stands of oilseed rape, mustard and poppy. Tests were performed on the basis of the methodology of Insecticide Resistance Action Committee number 011, 021, 025. In total, we tested the pollen population from 18 locations. For testing, we used the following chemical substances: Biscaya 240 OD, cypermethrin, lambda-cyhalothrin, tau-fluvalinate, etofenprox, chlorpyrifos(ethyl). We evaluated 100% of the registered dose of pesticides after 24 hours. From the results of the individual populations, we found large differences in resistance to chemicals.
