Data Visualization Trends in International Companies

The topic of diploma thesis is the use of visualization as a part of data analytics in international companies, with main focus on new and upcoming trends in this dynamically developing field. After a review of both historic and present situation of data visualization field we proceed to clarification of visualization process and specific forms, methods and techniques which are based on scientific facts regarding human visual perception. This leads to the next section, which is devoted to visualization tools currently available on the market, analysis of selected tools and practical examination of business users' awareness of available visualization tools and their features. In the last section we introduce selected current and upcoming development trends in the field.
Internet as an Important Factor of Globalization and its Impact on Tourism Development

The extent of the Tourism is increasingly linked to the development of information and communication technologies, especially the Internet and for a long time the online market is becoming a key aspect of its further development. Current technological development brings with it significant digitization of all processes and significantly affects how today's companies are entering and communicating on the online tourism market. Similarly, as a result of these changes, the significant change occurs in consumer behaviour, and across all age groups. With the development of these technologies, today's consumer is not only knowledgeable and more experienced, but is increasingly being constant online part of this market. The development of online tourism market is thus increasingly strongly linked with the growth of the total Internet population and currently also the one, that is using to the internet access the cellular infrastructure and equipment. The aim of disertation is to analyze the impact of the development of the internet as a global phenomenon of the last decade, and information and communication technologies on the tourism market, and to create a comprehensive look at this issue from tourism market perspective.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse usage of available technologies of localization in particular retail units and their benefits for both customers and retailers. This topic concerns especially accurate localization of customers in retail units, targeted marketing and providing basic information according to the location in particular retail unit. Monitoring and evaluating of customer's movement trajectory and length of time spent at the particular place in the retail unit.

The diploma thesis deals with the specific collaborative tools used in given company. It aims to validate the hypotheses selected within the surveyed company. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part contains theoretical bases of the thesis. It outlines issues of information technology and communication tools since their beginnings towards the latest trends. The focus is on enterprise Microsoft and its products Microsoft Lync, Microsoft SharePoint and Windows Phone and enterprise BlackBerry and its contribution to the development and use of mobile communication devices. The practical part contains characteristics of surveyed company, the process of creating the survey, methodology, analysis and evaluation of given hypotheses.

It describes the methodological approaches used to create e-learning-based education programmes, summarizes current trends and analyzes evolution of the global market with learning technologies. Due to the focus on the Czech Republic, it also analyzes the results of 2 surveys, namely use of e-learnning in the corporations and use of e-learning at the University of Economics, Prague.
ICT in language teaching

This thesis focuses on using ICT during langueage teaching. The author cooperates with concrete language school from Prague which would like to start using internet to make lessons more efficient. According to the survey, students would like to use the internet to study the language at home. E-learning and m-learning are defined here. Also their positives and negatives are mentioned. M-learning is thought to be very popular in language teaching these days. Also open source softwares are considered to be a solution. Students would also like to communicate with their colleagues and teachers through instant messengers and social networks. All of these possibilities were taken in mind and the author tried to find the best way how to get the clients of the language school satisfied. The purpose of the whole process was also to gain new clients.

This diploma thesis deals with a business plan of an internet company. In the first part its main focus lies in theoretical concepts of business start with an emphasis on online marketing. All theoretical aspects from entrepreneurial characteristics through legal forms of business to formalities of a proper business plan are covered. Specific business plan is then being elaborated upon in the practical part. The company would introduce a new kind of video commercial channel via its server where visitors can win prizes which they first select. By watching the commercial, visitors will be included in a raffle. This business idea seems attractive to both the visitors as well as media buyers.
