This bachelor thesis called eGovernment instruments in the practice of the Municipal Authority examines the concept of eGovernment itself, with the help of appropriate tools in practice. Description of the representation of instruments, especially data box, electronic signature, Czech POINT, Citizen Portal and various electronic applications. The aim of the work is to map the situation at the given municipal authority in practice, to identify the advantages and disadvantages and subsequent opportunities for correction and improvement for the benefit of the authority.

Folk Crafts in Practical Activities Subject in Primary School

The master's thesis concentrates on the integration of the topic of folk traditions and handicrafts into the teaching of Practical activities during the first grade of primary school. The aim of this work is to participate in the development of technical literacy and key skills in the field of Man and the world of work of first-graders through practical projects. In the theoretical part, the goals and key terms are defined and a brief overview of folk traditions, handicrafts, and handicraft technologies is provided. The practical part focuses on the process of making of the proposed projects. Their effectiveness is tested by implementation in practice and a follow-up reflection of the participating pupils.

The UN resolution concerning partition of Palestine and the end of the British mandate (the contribution to the establishment of state of Israel 1945-1949)

Na základě vyhlášení rezoluce o rozdělení Palestiny se měly zfonnovat dva samostatné státy - jeden židovský a jeden arabský. Židovský stát v květnu 1948 opravdu vznikl, ale v Palestině již půl roku probíhala občanská válka. Britové do ní nezasahovali, snažili se z oblasti co nejrychleji stáhnout. Konflikt, který se po jejich odchodu naplno rozhořel, vstoupil do izraelské historiografie pod názvem Válka za nezávislost; do palestinské jako al-Nakba - Zkáza. Tisíce arabských obyvatel musely (ať už z vlastní vůle, nebo z nutnosti) židovský stát opustit, většina z těchto uprchlíků a jejich potomků žije i dnes v ubohých podmínkách na jeho hranicích. Ve své diplomové práci jsem se snažila analyzovat hlavní příčiny, které vedly k rozdělení Palestiny a k vytvoření židovského státu. Zabývala jsem se alternativními návrhy na možného řešení problému, také jsem analyzovala život obou komunit v meziválečném období a jejich smýšlení o svých rivalech, případně spoluobčanech. Zhodnotila jsem různící se postoje britských mandátních úředníků i britských vlád k palestinské problematice. Zabývala jsem se i osobními postoji a názory významných představitelů těchto úřadů. Stejným způsobem jsem pak postupovala i v případě Spojených států amerických, u nichž jsem analyzovala Trumanovy motivy k vehementní podpoře rozdělení, bez níž...

Transformations of "Bildungsroman": La tía Julia y el escribidor a La Habana para un infante difunto

The objective of this thesis was to analyse and compare two novels that were published in the late seventies-La tía Julia y el escribidor (1977, Aunt Julia and the Scriptwriter) by Peruvian Mario Vargas Llosa and La Habana para un Infante difunto (1979, Infante's Inferno) by Cuban Guillermo Cabrera Infante-and to search for the influences of the novel of formation. We have seen autobiographical elements in both books, analysed different levels of formation of the protagonists and mentioned the (parodic) inclination to the novel of initiation in Infante's Inferno. In the second part of the thesis we focused on other elements developed in both novels, for example the interference of trashy and extraliterary genres and the topic of literature and the occupation of the writer. We have concluded that both novels, although different, share the same platform.

Educational Needs of Social Divisions' Workers on Municipalities in Former Česká Lípa District

The diploma thesis is focused on the matter of continuing education of social department workers in municipalities in former Česká Lípa district. Specifically, it looks at what the educational needs in this area, workers have. The theoretical part is focused on the terminology. Firstly, it devotes to the characteristic of the former Česká Lípa district from the perspective of social work performed by the workers of municipalities. It also discusses the continuing education of workers and training needs analysis. This part also describes the burnout syndrome that is related to a supervision which is also a part of this thesis. The practical part is focused on the social workers' needs of continuing education. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out which of the skills and knowledge for workers are the most needed. In the research, there was used the methodology of quantitative analysis via halfstructured questionnaires and the following structured interviews in order to gain the necessary qualitative data. The partial goals are to find out if the willingness of workers to participate on continuing education has impact on the burnout syndrome, or how burnout syndrome is related to participation in the supervision.

The aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive view of important aspects related to all benefits in general and their provision and then focus on several specific benefits and point out their specific issues, practical problems as well as possible solutions to these problems. The secondary goal of the thesis is to define the phenomenon consisting in the growing intervention of the state in the field of labor relations, especially in the provision of employee benefits, including thought of this phenomenon and its further development. This thesis is divided into five main parts, each of which is further divided into further chapters. The first part of this work deals with the concept itself and then the division of employee benefits into individual groups from different perspectives. It describes their functions and possible ways in which employee benefits can be provided. The second part addresses the issue of legal regulation of employee benefits, while pointing out the fact that there is currently no comprehensive legal regulation for employee benefits. The Impact of Europeanization on Social Systems of the EU Member States: The Case of the Swedish Labour Market

The Master thesis "The Impact of Europeanization on Social Systems of the EU Member States: The Case of the Swedish Labour Market" elaborates on the potential influence of the EU on the social policy of its members. Although the social policy has formally been left in the competences of national states, there are certain possible ways whereby the EU can affect it. The instruments of Europeanization in the social area are identified and then tested on the case of the Swedish labour market. On the one hand, there are direct instruments of Europeanization in the social policy represented by the Open method of coordination (OMC) which is an unbinding EU legislation, and on the other hand, there are indirect mechanisms proceeding by the application of the rules of the internal EU market. Concerning specifically the Swedish labour market, it could have been affected by the Swedish participation on the European Employment Strategy (EES) that is based on the OMC, or through the ECJ decision in the Laval case which dealt with the freedom to provide services. In this respect, the specific Swedish model of labour market has played an important role. The activity of protest movements in 1956-1977 in Denmark and Sweden

Bachelor thesis "The Activity of Protest Movements in 1956-1977 in Denmark and Sweden" deals with the activities of social movements that originated in the territory of Denmark and Sweden in connection with the Western wave of protest activism and the overall radicalization of youth in the 1960s and the 1970s. It was especially a movement against nuclear weapons and the war in Vietnam and the student revolt of 1968. The paper analyzes the circumstances, the protest actions and subsequent consequences of activity of these movements in both countries and its objective is a complex comparison of the Danish and the Swedish cases. This comparison subsequently highlights the differences between the protest movements of Denmark and Sweden in various aspects, which are described in the text. One of them is the development of left-wing movement after 1956 and the emergence of new intellectual currents that influenced the direction of the protest movements. Other parts are devoted to the course and the extent of demonstrations of particular movements and their content, goals and expressions, for example through alternative culture.
