Use of cell phone in liquids analysis
Křístek, Tomáš ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
Technological development, broad availability and ubiquity of mobile phones made it possible in recent years to start a progression leading to the integration of mobile phones into biomedical analytical methods, the development of telemedicine and mobile personal health applications. This paper deals with the literature review of the mobile phone usage in biomedicine, with emphasis on the methods of optical analysis and technical solutions using 3D printing technology. It provides a draft and practical implementation of salivary cortiol level measuring system using a mobile phone, ELISA analytical methods, 3D printing technology and a set of custom Matlab functions connected with Matlab Mobile application and Mathworks Cloud. Also provides critical evaluation of results and method possibilities, and presents set of proposals and findings for quality of measurment optimization.

Simple system for iris image acquisition
Křístek, Tomáš ; Slávik, Vladimír (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
The themes of the thesis are the method of identification based on iris recognition and iris capture system. Text provides general theoretical information as an introduction to the field and issues, it describes the design and realization of a simple sensor system, the design and development of methodology for evaluating the image quality and subsequent identification of influential factors. At the end of the bachelor thesis, work and results are evaluated and some possible suggestions for future development and improvement of the sensing process are provided.
Multichannel audio DAC for laboratory measurements
Kristek, Tomáš ; Kufa, Jan (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
The content of this bachelor thesis is the design and construction of a multi-channel audio D/A converter, which will be used for laboratory use. It includes a digital signal input using SPDIF communication, the D/A converter itself, control of the D/A converter chip using the SPI bus, power circuits and symmetrical output.

The negative theology in the writings of Dionysius the Areopagite
Kristek, Tomáš ; Ventura, Václav (advisor) ; Mohelník, Tomáš (referee)
English annotation - The Negative theology in writings of the Denys the Areopagite In this thesis I am trying to describe the middle way of testifying about God, his presence, his being, about his activity in the soul of men and his activity in the World. This way is known as the apophatic way or the way of negations. For better understanding we need to concern with authors like Platon and his followers. From patristic Fathers I choused the Gregory of Nyssa whom I am using like a bridge to get to the Denys the Areopagite and his teaching. "Modern" influences of Arepagite's teaching I follow in the book The Mystical Theology of the Eastern Church written by Russian author Vladimir Lossky. Crucial words: negative theology, negative way, the way of apophasis, testifying about God, Denys the Areaopagite, Platon, the Eastern Church, Vladimir Lossky.

Development of diplomatic relations amongst the Czech Republic and the Vatican
Kristek, Tomáš ; Veselý, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Šauer, Jaroslav (referee)
Diplomatic relations amongst the Czech republic and the Vatican have been formed since 1918. We study various circumstances which affect the process of shaping in the historical context and on the basis of liberal-idealistic and realistic theories. In this Bachelor work we will concern with factors which influence mutual relation of state and church in the perspective of international relations and in various specific significant moments. This reciprocal relation amongst state and church is not estabilished amongst two states, but also amogst state and international organisation, which is represented by the Pope, the head of the Church and of the Holy See. From the point of view of the mutual agreement every partner enters in this agreement with own demands and needs, which in the case of the papal diplomacy, these demands aren´t always in consensus with the diplomacy of the state. The Czech republic and the Holy See are democracies and such deal with problems in the diplomatic way, even though the consensus is not always possible.
