The two tested groups consisted of 16 midget male ice hockey players of SK Černošice ice hockey club. The study consists of three measurements of shot speed, shot accuracy and handgrip strength measured before and after the first six-week training cycle and at the end of second six-week training cycle. The shooting training was performed by long swing, short swing and wrist-shot technique using heavy-weight and light-weight pucks. These pucks were used in specific shooting training drills. Results: Skill-wise technically better equipped players (starting with heavy weight puck program) reported bigger improvement in long swing, short swing and wrist- shot shot speed and accuracy after heavy-weight puck training program than after light-weight...

Title: The analysis of shooting effectivity from rink area in EUHL by team of Charles University Objectives: The aim of submitted thesis is to determine the effectiveness of shooting in hockey team UK Prague in terms of the place of shooting, From which part of the offensive zone and which type of shots the biggest amount of goals was scored and vice versa, where the shooting did not succeed and shooting was not very effective. This thesis should indicate the possibilities of improving the scoring effectivity for the coming seasons. Methods: The diploma thesis uses the method of statistical data analysis. Statistical data were obtained in the form of indirect observation of video recordings of the hockey games. Results: From statistical data was found that in the 2018/2019 season were the most effective zone in terms of the place of scoring zones number 1 and 2, or the so-called slot. Title of bachelor thesis: Comparison of level of motoric abilities of children in the period prepubescence with and without sports specialization Author: David Štechmüller Supervisior: Mgr. Jan Krégl Aim: The aim of bachelor thesis is to determine the average improvement and total performance of the testing group of ice hockey players in comparison with children from two selected primary schools in the test battery unifittest (6-60) during two testing periods. Methods: Comparison of both groups and their subsequent assessment on average. The research method of this bachelor thesis was used observing - measuring. Testig took place with children born in 2011/2012 (U6-U7). The unifittest battery (6-60) was selected to measure performances. Results: In this thesis was detected that nobody from the group of ice hockey players got to below-average values and lower in any test battery discipline. The overwhelming majority (94%) got to more than average values of testing in the final testing. By way of contrast, children from primary schools didn't achieve such an improvement and their performances had mostly average values all the time of measuring. Methods: The research was realized using a motor testing method. Hypotheses: H1: I presume that there will be an improvement in the speed tests on ice. H2: I presume that there will be a great improvement in the speed tests on the ground. H3: I presume that there will be an association between the improvement on the ice and on the ground. Results: Average improvement can be noticed in speed test running up the stairs (0,17 second +  0,32). The results of the other two tests did not prove a great improvement. Šeda, Vlastimil ; Šťastný, Petr (advisor) ; Kregl, Jan (referee)
Title: The relationship of stickhandling and agility skating with puck at eleve players. Objectives: The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to compare and establish the relationship between the level of stickhandling and the skating speed with puck in players of younger school age, ascertained by means of testing on the ice rink. Methods: In the research, we used Spearman's correlation coefficient to compare the results between the level of simple manipulation control with puck and the difference in skating speeds without the puck and with the puck. Furthermore, the difference of the probands between the time of the best attempts with the puck and without the puck was based on the success of the test simple manipulation control with puck. We determined the level of the Test of Gross Motor Development, TGMD-2. Results: The results show a correlation of the simple test of the manipulation control with the puck to agility tests on the ice rink (test around the circles r= -0,50; slalom test r= -0,72; test in circle r= -0,61). In addition, there was founded a lesser time difference in test of agility without the puck and with the puck at players with a higher skill in handling the puck. Probands achieved average to below average results in the Test of Gross Motor Development. Conclusion: The bachelor...

Goalkeepers of the Czech extraliga use the game activity butterfly more than 90 percent while responding to the kicked hockey puck in every hockey match. The success of the following game activity and its technique (reverse V-H) is bellow the boundary of 90 percent.
