Fertility factors - district of Most in 2000 - 2010 period

1990 - 2008 Fertility factors in the disctrict of Most in 2000-2010 period Abstract The objective of this study was to find causes of regional fertility differences and context with social and economic indicators. Then to find situation of district of Most in regional comparison and social and economic causes of fertility developement in this district in 2000-2010 period. In first descriptive part there was made the comparative analysis of age structure and fertility indicators in Czech republic, Ústí region and district of Most. The result is different values of the fertility indicators (intensity and timing) and also younger age structure. In the second part were found social and economic factors of regional fertility differences and factors in district of Most with multivariate statistical methods. The cluster analysis confirmed the differences of district of Most and border of North Bohemia too. For use factor analysis and canonical correlation analysis the conclusion was the important factor of regional differences is especially education, but also availability and quality of housing, economic level. Fertility development in district Most in 1990-2008 period

The objective of this study is to analyse the development of fertility in the district of Most in the period from 1990 to 2008 and compare it with the development of the Usti region and national level. On the basis the indicators of fertility the objective is to find social context this demographic development. There were calculated indicators of fertility in demographic part and next it was compared between Czech republic, Ústí region and district of Most. The result of study is the development in the region and in the district is different (total fertility rate, age specific rates, average age of mother at birth and extramarital fertility). The second part examined the influence of socioeconomic aspects of different development in the district compared to Czech republic. Conclusion is the different development of fertility in the district relate with selected socio-economic aspects.
Population register and its design for Kazakhstan

Population register and its design for Kazakhstan Abstract This project primarily affects the process of creating/ building of population register in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The international experiences of population registration in European countries were used in the process of writing this thesis. Current data collection processing, their legal basis in the registers were also was analyzed. The diploma thesis also described the positive and negative sides of building population registers and usage this approach in Kazakhstan's reality. A census was carried out in Kazakhstan during the writing master thesis. The results of the census can contribute further to improve information base for the establishment of a register of the population based on census. Trends in marital and nonmarital fertility in the Czech Republic

Trends in marital and nonmarital fertility in the Czech Republic The aim of this paper is to analyze changes in marital and nonmarital fertility in the Czech Republic in the period 1980-2008, in terms of age, birth order and marital status. The impact of changes in the structure of women according to marital status and of fertility change in the intensity of the number and structure of live births was investigated. Outline the historical development of the social situation of children born outside marriage, and attempts to find answers to questions regarding the expanding phenomenon of unmarried motherhood and cohabitation. Throughout the analyzed period, a growing number and proportion of births outside marriage. At the end of the first decade of the 21st century in illegitimate union was born almost 39 % of live births. Attitude of unmarried cohabitation and unmarried children nascent mothers are no longer nearly as pessimistic as it was before. With the sharp decline of marriages concluded growing share of single women of reproductive age. Significant changes occurred only in the total number of live births, which fluctuated, and at the end of the period analyzed is stabilized above the one hundred thousand live births, but also a change in reproductive behavior, which is reflected in a marked increase...

Mortality Trends by selected causes of death in children and youth in the Czech Republic Abstract The aim of this study is to describe mortality development of children and the youth in the Czech Republic between 1949 and 2008 according to selected causes. The study examines evolution of the most significant groups of death of children and the youth in the last decades. Trends in these mortality groups are analyzed with the use of structural and intensity indicators. Individual, the most frequent causes for the selected groups of death are described with the use of total numbers. The most interesting development of individual causes of death is set into a broader context. Generally, we can say that from the intensity perspective mortality of children and the youth has decreased and from the structural perspective the mortality has stagnated. Divorce trends in the Czech Republic and France within the context of legislation

The main objective of this thesis consists in analyzing the impact of divorce legislation on the divorce rate in the Czech Republic and in France, from the 1950's up to the present time. The introduction provides information on the historical development of matrimonial legislation. The second part characterizes in detail the development of the legislative changes in the field of divorce in both countries. The next chapter is devoted to the comparative analysis of the divorce rate in the context of the legislative changes. In detail, it consists in studying the evolution of the divorce rate, the duration-specific divorce rate and the divorce rate in families with children. Furthermore, the cohort analysis of selected marriage-cohort was performed. Impact of overweight and obesity on life quality

This diploma thesis addresses overweight and obesity worldwide and in the Czech Republic. It deals primarily with child obesity and investigates obesity impact on life quality of individuals. The aim of this work was to manifest a negative effect of obesity and overweight on health of the population. The theoretic part of the thesis deals with obesity definition, methods of measurement, treatment options and time trends with an emphasis on the situation in the Czech Republic. Effects of overweight and obesity on humans are analysed on the basis of expert studies. The obesity increases mortality and morbidity levels and the risk may increase if the prevalence grows. The analytical part of the work deals with the examination of survey data for children and adults. Statistical methods of correlation and regression were used for the analytical purpose. Health life expectancy in EU

During the last decades decline in mortality rates was observed. As the life expectancy increases, more questions about quality of "extra" years are arisen. Life expectancy - long time traditional indicator of population health- is not sufficient indicator to answer these questions. Following thesis summarizes relatively new type of indicators called "health expectancies". These are combination of mortality and non fatal health outcomes and they adding the aspect of health (aspect of quality) to quantitative concept of life expectancy. Increase of life expectancy is related with changes in epidemiology situation. Nowadays chronic diseases exercise crucial influence to European health state situation. Concept of health expectancies makes possible to access changing in mortality and morbidity simultaneously. Health expectancy is also useful measure for international comparison. Concerning to that, the international harmonization of data sources is very important. Four decades of cause-specific mortality in the Czech Republic, West Germany and France

Úmrtnost podle příčin v České republice, Německu a Francii v uplynulých čtyřech desetiletích Abstrakt Cílem práce je zhodnocení vývoje úmrtnosti podle příčin v České republice, Německu (bývalé SRN) a Francii za uplynulých čtyřicet let. Základním problémem demografického studia úmrtnosti podle příčin je dostupnost a srovnatelnost dat, a to jak v čase tak mezi jednotlivými zeměmi. Časová srovnatelnost je narušována pravidelnými revizemi mezinárodní klasifikace nemocí (MKN), zatímco srovnatelnost v mezinárodním měřítku je ztěžována různými interpretacemi této klasifikace v jednotlivých zemích. První (a převážná) část práce je proto věnována procesu rekonstrukce časově srovnatelných řad úmrtnosti podle příčin v Německu a v České Republice. V druhé části jsou poté tato získaná data porovnána s již existujícími dlouhodobými řadami pro Francii. Z výsledků vyplývá, že takto zpracovaná data poskytují velmi solidní základ pro analýzu příčinných podmíněností úmrtnosti a nacházejí tak širší uplatnění ve studiu teorie epidemiologického (nebo nověji zdravotního) přechodu.
