Self-cleaning Properties of Thin Printed Layers of Titanium Dioxide
Corporate risk controlling systems
Krýsa, Jan ; Žižlavský, Ondřej (referee) ; Kruliš, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on corporate risk controlling system. The aim is to make a list of areas which should be continuously and systematically monitored by companies and evaluate the quality of risk controlling system in a selected company. The compilation of areas was based on literary research and using data from analyses of current risk controlling state in the selected company. These data were obtained using the IPR method. The results show that the state of risk controlling is at a very low level in the company. In the proposal part are therefore formulated specific proposals and improvements that can improve the state of the risk controlling system.

Inactivation of aspergillus niger on paints containing ZnO
Rácová, Z. ; Baudys, M. ; Krýsa, J. ; Tichá, P. ; Demo, Pavel
Antifungal capability of ZnO against bacteriae A. niger (including its photocatalytic activity) was analyzed. The optimal conditions for mould mycelium growth was estimated from evolution growth models. It was shown that prepared protective coating exhibits antifugal effect.

Electrochemical, photoelectrochemical and spectroelectrochemical characterization of nanomaterials
Pitňa Lásková, Barbora ; Kavan, Ladislav (advisor) ; Šubrt, Jan (referee) ; Krýsa, Josef (referee)
Titanium dioxide (TiO2) and spinel Li4Ti5O12 belong to widely studied semiconducting metal oxides. Nanocrystalline TiO2 and Li4Ti5O12 are attractive materials for applications in Li-ion batteries and the former also for photoelectrochemical solar cells. Moreover, spinel Li4Ti5O12 could be a promising material for Na-ion batteries too, because of possible accommodation of larger Na+ ions (compared to Li+ ). The nanocrystalline TiO2 anatase with a predominant {001} facet was studied electrochemically by cyclic voltammetry of Li+ insertion and by chronoamperometry and compared with anatase materials with dominating {101} facet. Both voltammetric and chronoamperometric diffusion coefficients and activation energies proved higher activity of anatase {001} nanosheets toward Li+ insertion than that of the usual anatase nanoparticles exposing the {101} facet. Subsequently, the flatband potential and electron kinetics of TiO2 anatase nanocrystals with mostly exposed facet {101} or {001} were compared. The anatase {001} nanoplatelets exhibited more negative flatband potential, higher chemical capacitance and longer electron lifetime than anatase {101} nanoparticles. The Li+ insertion into TiO2 anatase nanoparticles was studied by Raman spectroscopy and by in situ Raman spectroelectrochemistry. Four...

Photocatalyzed Degradation of Dibutylphthalate with Goethite and Carboxylic Acids
Hejda, S. ; Bajt, O. ; Krýsa, J. ; Klusoň, Petr
The general experiment was performed as it follows. To the solution of dibutylphthalate (2.9 x 10-5 M) goethite was added (0.25 g L-1). Suspension was homogenized in an ultrasonic bath, oxalic acid (1 x 10-3 M) was added to the homogenized suspension, and subsequently the reaction mixture was irradiated at 365 nm. The pH was kept constant using a pH-stat. Samples were taken in different time intervals, centrifuged and analyzed by HPLC.
