Options integration of health education curriculum and VV at the 2nd primary school

in English DP: Possibilities of integration of the subjects of Health Education and Art Education at the Secondary School Autor: Bc. Magdalena Hajná This diploma thesis presents results of examining the possibility of integration of subjects of "Art education" and "Health Education" at the lower secondary level of education. The result is a project of linking the selected subjects into the education curriculum for the sixth year of elementary school. In a theoretical part, I focused on the brief history and the present of education fields of Health Education and Art Education. I outlined its basic characteristics; I summarized important starting points for their integration and I outlined the common goals and contents. I have used weaknesses, strengths, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis made in a specific studied school in Prague to specify and refine focus and form of this thesis. Another source of data was a School Counseling Program called "Spolu to zvládnem" (in English: Together we succeed) which was previously run on the studied school. This diploma thesis addresses the issue of mutual attitudes among teachers and pupils at the upper-primary-schools. The thesis is based on the assumption that the teacher-student rapport is the significant determinant of the educational process. The aim of the thesis is to determine the factors and the ways of affecting mutual attitudes among pupils and teachers at upper- primary-schools. The theory section of the thesis focuses on the issues of attitudes and of the personality of a pupil and teacher at the upper-primary-school and on the interaction between them. The thesis describes the factors affecting mutual attitudes among pupils and teachers as well as the characterics of adolescent. It also describes the teacher's personality and his role in the educational process. The objective of the research section is to identify the characteristic features of mutual attitudes among teachers and pupils at the upper-primary-schools. The section also suggests the causes constituting specific attitudes among students and teachers at the upper-primary-schools. It seeks to determine whether the factors of teacher's age, gender, and specialization, and that of the pupil's gender are affecting the mutual attitudes among pupils and their teachers. The diploma thesis is focused on interpersonal relations in curriculum at chosen primary school. Both formal and informal curriculum of the lower secondary school are studied here and also the integration of the interpersonal issues. The social psychology importance in the influence of the social background issue on upbringing and education of children is described in theoretical part of this thesis, just as the application of the social psychology in pedagogy for understanding children and adolescents in their pupils' social circumstanced, integration of the interpersonal issues in the teaching document - curriculum, chosen primary schools and term definition in the form of literary research. Practical part is divides into two sections. The first section includes quantitative research accomplished among teachers and pupils at lower secondary school by the qualitative method, in which teachers and pupils answer questions. The questionnaires survey the point of view from both sides of teachers and pupils and mutual interaction. Teachers and pupils assess everybody they meet daily. Rostislav Čevela, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis deals with the education and healthy lifestyle in the category of teenagers. The aim of the diploma thesis is to map out the important issues that affect the lifestyles of teenagers, mainly in relation to the secondary school environment, school documents, such as ŠVP, RVP and the effects of high-risk behavior. The diploma thesis also focuses on the important aspect of this topic, the interaction teacher - pupil, the aim of this section is to document and analyze whether the students perceive their teacher's approach to a healthy lifestyle and whether it's something that personally affects them. The current approaches to the education and healthy lifestyle in the secondary school environment are documented and analyzed in the diploma thesis. Tolerance in a multicultural societytraining

The aim of this thesis is to examine a degree of tolerance of students of selected secondary schools in the region to ethnic communities. It encounters and considers factors that affect and shape their attitudes. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with analysing and explaining of these terms - multicultural society, development of multicultural society, migration, ethnic community, characteristics of ethnic communities in the Czech Republic, culture, and traditions, coexistence with ethnic communities and integration. In the research part, it concerns with processing of survey attitudes of high school students from ethnic communities, with a focus on the Islamic community, and the current immigration crisis. The investigation focuses on the personal attitudes of students and their knowledge, both through multicultural education at school and through the media and social networks, which now play a major role in shaping the attitudes of young people. The research is completed with short case studies based on open-question questionary Finally, it presents some examples from multicultural education at high school and its contribution to shaping values and attitudes of students.
