Design of a combined tool for holes machining of the universal chuck
Kovář, Matouš ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
This master’s thesis focuses on the design of a combined tool for machining holes of a universal chuck. The thesis analyses the component and technologies used for the production of precision holes for pinions in the chuck body. Furthermore, the current production of precision holes is described, including the used machine, tools, cutting conditions and technological process with machine times. In the next part of the thesis, a proposal of more efficient production of precision holes is made accompanied by a design of a combined tool. The design includes its structural treatment, used cutting tool inserts and drill, the method of clamping, used material, the heat treatment, the determination of the cutting conditions and the development of a new technological procedure. The thesis concludes with a technological and economic evaluation, where the existing and the newly proposed technologies for the production of precision holes for pinions in the chuck body are compared.
Rationalization of the clamping jaws production process for the chuck
Kovář, Matouš ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the rationalization of the production process of chuck clamping jaws in TOS Svitavy, a.s. The introductory part of this work presents the company and its production program. It also includes the production of manual self-centering universal chucks and clamping jaws. An analysis of the existing technology of production of clamping jaws is performed and critical points of the current production process are determined. There is also a proposition of possible rationalization solutions and then the most suitable version is selected. Than, this version is processed, a new production technology is designed and a new technological procedure for the production of clamping jaws is assembled. Finally, an evaluation of the existing and newly designed technology is performed and the conclusions of this thesis are presented.
