Flight performance of the STOL light sport airplane
Koudelka, Jaroslav ; Sklenář, Filip (referee) ; Juračka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate effect of individual parts of the selected aircraft on its aerodynamic characteristics and to summarize possible directions of aircraft modifications with taking into account increasing its cruising speed while maintaining STOL performances. The first part of this thesis is focused on the description of selected aircraft construction and its legislative categorization. Then follows the theoretical part describing the basic terms of horizontal flight mechanics, the creation of drag and drag types. The practical part contains the evaluation of the drag influence for individual aircraft parts, their possible directions of improving and the final summary how the modified parts influence flight performances. In conclusion they are results comparing the original aircraft configuration with the modified one with taking cruising speed into account. For the modified version there is an evaluation of its impact on the STOL performances.
Conceptual design of an upper wing aircraft using structures parts of the previous type
Koudelka, Jaroslav ; Katrňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Jebáček, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a new high-wing aircraft for the company TL ultralight using the structural elements from another models from their portfolio. The design is created with an emphasis on crew comfort and cabin ergonomics. The first part of the thesis focuses on the description of the basic requirements for the aircraft and its classification in aviation regulations. It also contains a research part of competing types and currently produced type, which the proposed aircraft should replace in the company's portfolio. Then follows the characteristics of the individual parts of the airframe, the specification of the parts, which will be used from another types from portfolio, and parts which will be completely designed. Great emphasis is placed on the layout of the interior and its design and ergonomic. The proposed aircraft then demonstrates theoretical calculations of basic performances and a preliminary mass analysis. In the end, the benefits of the newly designed aircraft are evaluated with respect to the competing types.

ETHICS OF WAR IN CATHOLIC SOCIAL DOCTRINE
KOUDELKA, Jaroslav
The thesis deals with the ethics of war, especially from the perspective of the catholic social doctrine. It describes the historically-chronological perspective of the catholic social doctrine on the problem of war. It characterizes the fundamental Church attitudes to this problem and notices its particular reasons and postures. Together with the war problem it explains the view of the catholic social doctrine itself in respect to its development, complexity, currency and interconnection with tradition. Although the catholic social doctrine itself is not the main topic of the work, it brings a specific view of its place and position in social world order. The proof of this is the reflection coming from reality, that confirms that the catholic social doctrine is based on the principles of social justice, love and truth, that are apparent in the whole effort of the catholic social doctrine, not only in the field of war conflicts.
