Last plague epidemic in the Czech lands, especially in Prague (1713-1714)

The main part of the thesis mentions last plague epidemic wave, that hit our country in the years 1713-1714, here I focus specifically on the city of Prague. The Czech lands, Moravia and Silesia are mentioned only briefly to show little differences between lands and their plague rules. I also describe medical facilities and hospitals, where were sick and dying people placed, and personnel which took care of these people. Divine services were important for people at that time, society was very religious and people thought that plague is a divine punishment. Even though society was very religiously based, cities and streets were filthy and full of mud.People in cities had very poor hygienic standards and habits, that helped to faster spreading of the disease. At last, places of final rest for terminally ill people, plague cemeteries are mentioned.

The Development of Local Government in the Municipality of Žíšov

This master thesis deals with the development issues of local authorities in Žíšov (South Bohemian region). The thesis is divided into 2 part - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the characterization of municipal administrative bodies, municipal electoral process and local partisanship. This part also deals with the characterization of typology of local partisanship systems according to Petra Jüptner and Václav Bubeníček, citizen participation of political life and splitting within communities. The practical part of this thesis describes the basic demographic characterization of Žíšov and its history at first.
Another researched part describes the problems of socioeconomic indicators of the village (Žíšov). The key part is the analysis of election period during 1994 - 2014 with detailed look into each year. The conclusion of this thesis is the nature of local politics.

Walking through Paper Dreams Pavla Z.

This diploma work is mainly a monography of a Czech author Pavel Zajicek. The base of this study is the analysis and the interpretation of his lifelong official and samizdat literary work. In the analysis of some of his prerevolutionary books as the main source I used mainly the critiques of the contemporary literary magazines. I also present the life of the author itself, especially in the context of the period he lived in. I will briefly mention two musical bands that are closely related to this personality {--} DG 307 and PPU. In my studies I use my personal e-mail with Pavel Z. and I do not forget to observe all accesible dialogues with this poet. This diploma work is mainly a monography of a Czech author Pavel Zajicek.
