The influence of the major players in the labour market on solving unemployment in Litomerice region

Diploma thesis "The influence of the major players in the labour market on solving unemployment in Litomerice region." is dealing with the problem of long-term unemployment through cooperation in the field of major players in the labor market. Current employment policy objectives, based on the strategy of "Europe 2020" puts the emphasis on efficient use of active employment policy, which is one of the major tools for dealing with unemployment. This work addresses the layed out issues at the local level of Litomerice region, knowledge of the local labor market and job opportunities supports meaningful use of these tools. Developing cooperation with all actors in the labor market supports the complexity of employment programs, which may positively affect the development of employment opportunities at the regional level. The purpose of this study is to analyze the current state of cooperation in tackling unemployment and develop proposals to improve the use of all available options when dealing with unemployment. The consequences of the social services law for financing of social services on example of the district of administration Jindřichův Hradec

The diploma thesis considered to research problem new way of financing of social services from public resources as a source of financial uncertainity of social services providers. The thesis is a case study of the district of administration of municipality with extendent competency Jindřichův Hradec and also the results are for this territory only. Most of the dates have been gathered with validity to 31.12.2009. The goal of this study was to evaluate three years of validity of the Social services law in financing of social services sphere, whereas the partial goal of this study was to find out, which changes bringed the new equal rights system of social services financing to providers of social services for seniors and handicapped persons. To recieve the goals, five reserch questions have been determinated. These questions have been managed to answered. To recieve answers for these questions was used combination of qualitative and quantitative methods and primary and secundary dates. Financial education as a prevention against over-indebtedness of Czech households

The diploma work 'Financial education as prevention against over-indebtedness of Czech households' deals with the issue of constantly rising over-indebtedness. In the Czech Republic the number of people who find themselves in financial shortcoming due to over- indebtedness has recently raised. When we compare the Czech Republic with the advanced countries in the European Union, we find out the over-indebtedness is not so high. What is, however, alarming is its dynamics in the recent years. These figures are confirmed with statistic data. The phenomenon of consumer loans started to develop in the late 1990's when the first negative consequences, i.e. social and psychological impact, and distraints, which had not been known so far, appeared for the first time. Mortgages are seen as relatively healthy form of debt because their reimbursement is not as problematic as it is with the consumer loans. Investment into living is considered as long-lasting. There are several possibilities how to cope with debts. The first part of diploma thesis Human resources development in retirement homes in the area of capitol city of Prague is focused on situation concerning further education in retirement homes in the area of capitol city of Prague, particular attention is paid to quality in social services and concept of lifelong learning. Background of the situation is based on implementing legislation and strategic documents. The second part of diploma paper point out present tendency in further learning and refers to possible alternatives of development for the future. Main goal of diploma paper is to offer practical suggestions for good practice, which can provide several improvements in the policy of further learning in retirement homes in the area of capitol city of Prague.

The Policy with an emphasis to reduce the long-term unemployment of people with primary education in selected region - Ústecko

The thesis "The Policy with an emphasis to reduce the long-term unemployment of people with primary education in selected region - Ústecko" deals with the labour market and educational system within the local level. The current labour demand prefers workers with qualification, expert knowledges and skills. Therefore, the possibilities of people with primary education to find a job are decreasing. Regarding these facts, people with low qualification are threatened by long-term unemployment. Contemporary services of state employment policy in Ústí nad Labem do not focus on people with primary education. As well as the educational system within this region is deficient. Despite the fact that some applicants for a job are not motivated enough or willing to study, the education system is not flexible and thus, applicants have only limited opportunities for further education and for receiving vocational certificates or graduation diplomas. Accommodation social services as an instrument of social integration of social excluded people

The diploma "Accommodation social services as an instrument of social integration of social excluded people" deals with accommodation social services, focuses on Asylum. There are essential informations about all accommodation social services in the diploma. The diploma mentions concepts of social exclusion, social and culture capital, social integration and equality and equity as theoretical starting point. The diploma examines legal and other documents in the Czech Republic and within the European Union, which relate to the issue of social services for social excluded people. There is an analysis of one particular Asylum. The conceptions of social work had been researched in more detail. The diploma focuses on Asylum users and their unsatisfactory integration to the society. For this research was used the Asylum for men and mothers with children in Děčín town. The diploma mentions the reasons of admission of 17 users, who used the Asylum services in 2009. It analyses their reasons to come to the Asylum. And it also examines the reasons why they are not integrated to the society after they leave the Asylum. Which results in repetitional apply for Asylum.

One child policy in China and its consequences

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to inform about development and the present form of the one child policy in China and about its consequences and to evaluate the potential of this policy in the future. It describes former forms of population policies and the circumstances and the reasons for the introduction of the policy. It identifies the targets of the one child policy, its program, the measures and the ways to exact the policy. Special attention is given to the results and the consequences of the one child policy. It examines the influence of the policy on the course of the national growth rate, the birth rate and the fertility rate and it mentions several positive consequences of the policy. It deals minutely with the problems that the policy caused or at least worsened - the ageing problem, the enlargement of the ratio between men and women, the discrimination, the differences between urban and rural areas, breaking of human rights and the problem with "little emperors". At the end it evaluates the potential of the policy for the future. It states that it is possible and covetable to cancel or at least lighten the one child policy. Although the Chinese government reject this step it is probable that growing ageing problems caused the adjustments or cancelling of the policy.

The position of gypsies in the labour market in the Czech Republic

This thesis is focused on the problem of unemployment of gypsies in the Czech Republic as one of the greatest barriers to their successful integration into society. It deals with the historical context of unemployment of the gypsies and their current reasons and consequences. Attention is given to retraining, as the best and most affordable option for increasing the qualification of the gypsies, which is one of the main problems of their integration into the labor market. A subsequent expert analysis captures the expert opinions on the issue of gypsies' unemployment and it's solutions, focusing on the evaluation of retraining in the active employment policy. Experts offer possible solutions to unemployment of gypsies, which are either already in place (just do not work effectively enough) or should be introduced as an effective program for solving unemployment of gypsies.

Analysis of labor migration in the Czech Republic after admission to EU

Diploma thesis "Analysis of labour migration in the Czech Republic after admission to the European union." deals with europe labour migration in the Czech Republic in connection with impacts of Czech Republic admission to the Europe union and simultaneosly the paper deals with labour migration of Czech citizens to the European countries. This research discovers the main processes connected with the integration of the Czech labour market into the structure of the European Union, and to analyse the impacts that this integration has had in the field of work migration. Particular attention is given to the migration of workers from the Czech Republic to the other member states of the EU (specifically Ireland), the target of which is to give evidence that the transition period which is applied to the Czech Republic is not legitimate. There is also a focus on the developments in the employment of Czech people in the Irish labour market and the opinions that Irish people have of the migration of foreign workers to their country (with particular focus on their attitudes towards Czech people). Family policy in the Czech Republic at the county level

The diploma thesis "Family policy in the Czech Republic at the county level" deals with the question of the active approach of Mother Centres as a representative of the civil sector, countries and country councils as a representatives of public administration on the question of family and family policy at the country level. Country family policy is a part of the regional family policy, which is currently one of the objectives listed in the National Action Plan to support families with children 2006 - 2009. In spite of this fact, in the legislation, there are no obligations for countries and cities which would support the policy in different counties. Therefore in 2008, a document for the support of regional family policy was written by Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs which suggests some activities for its support. But this document has the character of mere recommendations. The main goal of the Czech family policy is built on the voluntary principle. This work follows and highlights the level of activity of individual countries, which differs due to the mentioned principle, and the inspiration from Germany on how to ensure an improvement of the country family policy in connection with the voluntary principle is presented.
