Development and construction of HSS modular milling cuttter

The aim of this thesis is to design geometry and dimension of involute gear cutter and its construction on parametric software Autodesk Inventor and fabrication a prototype of this cutter. This thesis has also concern with analysis and division of high speed steel and division of cutting tools. In this thesis was used bibliography, norms and collaboration with company named ZPS-FN a.s. The result of thesis is fabrication of prototypes of involute gear cutter for module 2 from eight-member sequence, namely members 1 and 8.

Design and Production of External Aquarium Filter Prototype

This Thesis is about the design and production of an external aquarium filter prototype. My prototype uses the method of the method Fused deposit modeling. The filter model was designed in a 3D parametric software Solidworks and printed by 3D-Printer uPrint. The thesis describes how the issue of waterproofing printed parts is solved, and also how the appropriate thread (diametr 90 mm) is chosen for printing.

Analysis of heat treatment effect on dimension shift

This bachelor thesis focuses on chemical-heat steel processing, mainly to the size change caused by the process itself. To look into the problem closely some samples from various materials and of various size have been made. The samples were measured before and after the ionic nitridation. Likewise the samples, the real peaces were measured, some of them were ionic nitridated and some were cemented. The real pieces were made from the same material but they differed in size and shape. Subsequently, all the figures were processed and assessed.

Production of real component by lost wax casting technology

This thesis deals with the real production of component by using investment casting technology. The thesis describes characteristics of investment casting technology, subsequently construction of 3D component, production of silicone mould, production of wax (plastic) of the model component. At the end of the work is provided technical and economic evaluation.

A new technology of a machined part

This master’s thesis is focused on CNC machines. It deals with the characteristics, description, coordinates, advantages and disadvantages of the CNC machines and utilization of the CAD/CAM software. The next part of this thesis deals with the suggestion for choosing the best technology for milling slots. Milling strategy, cutting processes and cutting conditions are described in this part as well as all the issues concerning the manufacturing of the milling slots.

Production of a rotational part

The master thesis is about creating technological process of production of a rotational part. The specified part is crankshaft and it is a new contract in manufacturing company. The goal is to design a CNC technology and verify the technology in production. There are used turning, milling and drilling methods in the machining process. There is a hexagon presssed in to the part, which requires a special preparation. Production requires the involvement of co-operation for nitriding surface treatment of the shaft. In the end a selling price is determined.
