Significance of frequency of measurement on describing linear mechanical systems - in- vivo measurements
Kohoutová, Tereza ; Kuchařová, Monika (advisor) ; Klemera, Petr (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biophysics and Physical Chemistry Candidate: Tereza Kohoutová Supervisor: Mgr. Monika Kuchařová, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Significance of frequency of measurement on describing linear mechanical systems - in vivo measurements This diploma thesis in its theoretical part deals with description of skin and its functions and properties. The main subject of interest are the mechanical properties of the skin. Second component of the theoretical part is a chapter about rheology and its importance for characterisation of mechanical properties especially biological materials. The practical part is focused on in vivo measurement of mechanical parameters of human skin and on finding dependence of Hooke's and Newton's coefficients on frequency of the measurements. Hooke's coefficient represents the elastic part of the skin. Newton's coefficient characterises its viscosity. The method used was based on measuring impulse response with the dynamic viscoelastometer. Measurements took place on ten female volunteers. During the experiment we were changing the mass of the measuring probe with weights, thereby altering the frequency of measurement. By this proceeding we were able to discover the dependence of both coefficients on...
Psychohygiene in School and Application of Relaxation Techniques into the Teaching Process at Elementary School
Kohoutová, Tereza ; Komárková, Tereza (advisor) ; Švandová, Martina (referee)
This bachelor work is dealing with the question of psychohygiene in school and application of relaxation techniques into the teaching process at elementary schools. Mental hygiene here is primarily focused on the pupils. This work defines several basic terms regarding to the topic, for example: psychohygiene, mental health, relaxation techniques etc. Primary intention of this work is refer to the necessity to pursue greater attention to the psychohygiene of the pupils since elementary school, due to keeping their mental health in balance, learning how to relax, preventing mental problems, fatigue or exhaustion. Possible symptoms of mental unease of pupils and reasons why it is necessary to care about their mental health are stated in this work. Finally this work offers some relaxation techniques and practices. Part of this work is also suggestion of several relaxation techniques, which would be usable and suitable at school for integration into the educational process. Key words Psychohygiene, mental health, relaxation, relaxation techniques, school, pupil, education process, stress, fear, anxiety, fatigue, ballast
Fashion Law
Kohoutová, Tereza ; Žikovská, Petra (advisor) ; Křesťanová, Veronika (referee)
Fashion law Abstract The main task of this thesis is to acquaint the reader with a relatively new cross-sectional field of law, which is the law of the fashion industry or fashion law. Although it is already established in the Anglo-American legal culture, in our country is still looking for its path. In addition to focusing directly on this field of law, the thesis also deals with certain aspects of intellectual property law that are associated with fashion law, and in the end, the various influences of fashion industry are briefly mentioned. The first chapter focuses on the definition of the concept of fashion law, how this field of law developed and what is its position in the United States, where it is taught at universities and was given some importance. The situation in the Czech Republic is also evaluated, where its development is mainly taken care of by the Institute of Fashion Industry Law. In order to provide a sufficient framework for other topics, the second chapter is devoted to the conceptual and legal specification of design and its protection. We will also get acquainted with its types with focus on fashion design. The third chapter is already fully focused on the first type of design protection, namely copyright. For the sake of completeness, this chapter discusses both the historical...
Evaluation of hybridization effect on fitness of eyelid geckos (Eublepharis, Gekkota) by performance tests
Kohoutová, Tereza ; Frýdlová, Petra (advisor) ; Sedláček, František (referee)
An interspecies hybridization is usually viewed from two sides - either as mistakes in a reproduction resulting in decrease of a hybrids fitness (e. g. loss or decrease of viability and fertility) or as a mechanism helping animals adaptively respond to environmental changes resulting in higher fitness. Fitness is usually represented as a set of correlates. One of the correlates is an organism performance which is represented by a set of maximal values from measured physical activities. This thesis focuses on the evaluation of the endurance and the bite force for gecko species E. macularius and E. angramayniu, their interspecies hybrids and intraspecies hybrids to determine their performance. The results show differences in the bite force among each of the tested groups. E. macularius has the lowest bite force, while the highest bite force was measured in E. angramayniu. The bite force of interspecies hybrids is intermediate in comparison to the parent species. Nevertheless, intraspecies hybrids of large form and white form of E. macularius exceeds their parents in measured bite force. The variability in bite force suggests a positive effect of hybridization on fitness. The bite force differences between the large form and the white form of E. macularius support the hypothesis that there exist more...
Company culture in selected companies
KOHOUTOVÁ, Tereza
The main aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse corporate culture in selected companies and to propose changes that will help them to reach desirable cultural dimensions of the knowledge economy. The thesis consists of two main parts. The first one is devoted to the theoretical background and the second one to the practical part. The content of the first part is literary research, which consists of basic knowledge about company culture and related subjects. The second part is dedicated to an analysis of company cultures in selected companies. The data for this research was obtained by the VSM 94 & 2013, TBSD test, observation and unstructured interviews with the employees, which were used to help us fully understand this problematic. Results of each method in cultural dimensions were compared and final results determined in which cultural dimensions they have problematic areas. At the end of the thesis, proposals that will lead the companies towards desirable knowledge economy were made.
