Title of the thesis: Motivation of the tennis players from 6 to 11 years old. Goal of the thesis: Goal of the thesis was to find out about motivation of the tennis players who are six to eleven years old. Tested children play tennis at the area of the town Havlíčkův Brod which is situated in the region Vysočina. With the help of prepared interview, I tried to find out about the wishes and needs of the tested children.What importance children give to rewards and how these rewards influence their intrinsic motivation. What regard they have to training and competition, and whether they plan their personal goals in tennis. At the end of my research, I tried to find out whether the visited tennis clubs use motivational slogans as the means of increasing players motivation. Method: I chose a qualitative research for my final thesis which is typical for using various methods and approaches. The goal of the qualitative research is to create a holistic picture of the problem. As the data collection method, I chose semi-structured interview which is characterized for using open questions that the interviewee answers spontaneously based on his/hers own knowledge. Evaluation of tennis forehand due to surface EMG

 Title of disertation: Evaluation of tennis forehand due to surface EMG.  Objectives of dissertation: To measure and describe the structure involving specific muscles of two tennis players. The muscles are going to be measured during the tennis forehand and specific exercises.  Method: Surface electromyography combinated with kinematic analysis used synchronized video recording.  Results: The order of muscle involving durig the tennis forehand and the specific exercises is different. The order of muscle involving during the specific exercises with using a tennis ball and a softball is more similar to the muscle involving during the tennis forehand than the order of muscle involving of the specific exercise with using a medicinball. Coaching in the game of Squash

Title: Coaching in the game of Squash Aim of thesis: - To understand how Czech trainers approach a problem of coaching of their trainees. - Whether they also step in as coaches or not. - Whether they underestimate a psychological preparation of players. - If players are content with the approach and coaching by their trainers. - Whether a non-verbal communication is used in coaching. Methods: A questionnaire among players and trainers active in the Czech Republic. Results were collected through a questionnaire that was either sent by email or handed out to a predetermined group of respondents. The survey took place in the whole Czech Republic. The respondents were both male and female squash players from all parts of the republic. Results: - In most cases the trainers also step in as coaches. - Trainers are well aware of the importance of psychological preparation but share a common feeling that their knowledge is insufficient. They work diligently on improvement. - Not very often do trainers accompany trainees to tournaments, especially to the extent that would benefit the trainees. - In roughly half of all cases, players express a high level of satisfaction with the coaching style of their trainers. Prospective analysis of ITF, ATP and WTA rankings of Czech tennis players selected for the Sport centres of youth

Title: Prospective analysis of ITF, ATP and WTA rankings of Czech tennis players selected for the Sport centres of youth Aim: The aim of the graduation theses is the analysis of selection of young talented tennis players of the Sport centres of youth in the period of 2001 - 2008. We will analyze their singles and doubles ITF, ATP and WTA rankings. We will also compare their rankings in the junior and adult period and analyze rankings of the Czech tennis players in the world's TOP25. Methods: The graduation theses is based on the prospective analysis and comparison of singles and doubles ITF, ATP and WTA rankings of tennis players of the Sport centres of youth, and the evaluation and interpretation of the acquired data. Outcomes: In the period of 2001 - 2008, 60 players were included in the Sport centres of youth. On the whole, 37 players were ranked in the top one hundred of the year end boys and girls combined rollover ranking and 17 in the top one hundred of the ATP or WTA ranking. Fourteen players altogether were ranked both in the top one hundred of the juniors ITF and ATP or WTA rankings in their career. Performance evaluation in tennis match by way of different match registrations and their comparison

Aim of the study This work has as its goal to offer coaches to help PFI effort to effectively as possible analysis of gaming performance so as to get the maximum amount of information from the playing match a selected type of analysis could use in field conditions.
