Wireless measurement module for vector calibration
Vaca, Pavol ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
Thesis discuss calibration methods for 3D acceleration sensors and implementation of the design of wireless measurement module for vector calibration. In this thesis are described principles of ellipsoid fitting problem and uses of this principles for calibration of accelerometer. Thesis contains short overview of principles used in MEMS accelerometers. Described calibration methods were implemented in Android application. Furthermore, the thesis describes Bluetooth Low Energy wireless technology. This communication technology is used for transferring data from measurement module to smart device. The result of this thesis is Android application for wireless vector calibration of MEMS accelerometer and presentation of practical results of this calibration.
Acoustic sensor with ICP power and electronic datasheet
Dvorský, Pavel ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The task of this Bachelor’s thesis is to introduce IEEE 1451.4 standard and connection of sensors with ICP supply to data acquisition systems. It deals with realization of acoustic pressure sensor (microphone) with ICP (CCLD) supply and possibility of saving real parameters of this sensor into transducer electronic datasheet (TEDS). Finally there is shortly described work with TEDS in LabVIEW programming environment.
Qualitative comparison of MEMS vibration sensors
Hasík, Stanislav ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Klusáček, Stanislav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is a qualitative parameter validation of MEMS vibration sensors using calibration devices from the companies SPECTRA a Brüel & Kjr. First part of study deals with different types of MEMS vibration sensors on the piezoresistive, capacitive and thermal principle of operation. The study also deals with primary and secondary methods of calibration of vibration sensors and devices used for these calibration methods. The second part of the thesis is to use the calibration chains and secondary calibration methods to verify the sensitivity and temperature dependences of three particular MEMS accelerometers from the companies STMicroelectronic, MEMSIC and Panasonic. The measured characteristics are compared with catalog datasheets. In the end of the thesis are also discussed the possibility of the suppression these temperature effects.
Verification of rotor model properties for sleeve bearings
Šály, Timotej ; Hnidka, Jakub (referee) ; Klusáček, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a professional research in the field of sleeve bearings and their diagnostic disorders. It describes the recognized methods of identification and technical diagnosis of these errors. Furthermore, it describes the features and possibilities provided by the rotor model RK4 in the simulation of sleeve bearings. Moreover, the thesis deals with the development of a laboratory task for students to demonstrate the diagnostic fault of oil whirl.
Electronic timekeeping with movement detection
Paulus, Luboš ; Brož, Vladimír (referee) ; Klusáček, Stanislav (advisor)
Agility is a competition for dogs and their whipper. The score is made from numbers of errors which dog made and also time in which the dog overcomes crimps decides. Start and finish are detected by the reflective optical spar with logical NPN output. Spar havs to detect only dog in set position in recruit. This signal is processed by a micro – controller, which processes data, more precisely time with accuracy on tenths, sends data on the superior PC.The communication of micro-controller and PC is possible only through USB, RS 232 or wireless RS 232.
Current sensor with digitized output signal
Poruban, Milan ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is to describe principles of measuring of alternating current in low voltage power supply networks with Rogowski coil and study in detail the requirements for electronic current transformer with digital output. Farther confirm the basic parameters of Rogowski coil as an current sensor and creating its alternate electric model. Theoretical part deals issue of measuring alternating current with Rogowski coil, its properties, characteristics, construction and advantages over conventional current transformers of alternating current. There are also listed requirements for alternating current transformers and requirements for their digital output. A/D converters are also discussed. Practical part deals with measuring of parameters of Rogowski coil and creating its alternate electric model. Furthermore, the design and implementation of the input circuit for a pair of A/D converters, which represents a measurement card from NI. Data from the measuring card is processed by the program LabVIEW. The outcome of this thesis is a functional circuit that provides an analog signal pre-processing of Rogowski coils represented by installed PCB designed for 18-bit AD7690 converter and technology demonstrator, which processes the digitized signal from the measuring card.
Using the infrared camera in the measuring technique.
Švestka, Jiří ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is a noncontact measurement of thermal characteristics of insulating materials used in the construction. This is a list of selected companies and an overview of basic types of of insulating materials on the market. The aim is to measure and then to compare the thermal properties of selected materials
Measurement of the numerical aperture
Vejmola, Tomáš ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
Bachelor thesis illustrates the use measuring systems for measuring the numerical apertures of various kinds of optical fibers. The study also described and tested measuring device, to modify the system for measuring radiation characteristics and angle of LED 3mm, 5mm and 8mm.
Power harvesting sensors
Arnošt, Karel ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with power harvesting sensors as a source of energy. As the power requirements for microelectronics decreases the environmental energy sources become more perspective. In a few last years batteries reach a higher capacity but there is still problem with their replacement. Power harvesting sensors appears as a good solution for powering microelectronics.
Verification properties of AV test bench
Kraiushkin, Dmytro ; Doseděl, Martin (referee) ; Klusáček, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the vibration diagnostics of rotating machinery and familiarization with the hardware and software provided by AMC Vibro company. A research was conducted on the issues of diagnosing faults in rotating machinery and their potential application on the rotor model AV Test Bench. The main focus of the thesis is the diagnosis of shaft unbalance and the implementation of the operational two-plane balancing method.
