Stýblová, Hana ; Klumparová, Štěpánka (referee) ; Hník, Ondřej (advisor)
The Bachelor's thesis on the topic of The role of song lyrics in the time of a stagnant interest in poetry consists of two parts. The main aim of the first part is to demonstrate the song poetry in the context of the science of music and literature. Actually, it describes specific features and a phenomenon of folk songs from the theoretical point of view. The second part of the Bachelor's thesis is a research resulting from a pre-research with the main aim to find out who is considered to be a folk singer for today's society. The pre-research is followed by the main research that should show the current role of song lyrics. Both researches were achieved by the short questionnaire and they claimed that nowadays the best-known folk singer is Jaromir Nohavica. Furthermore, it was found out that the role of song lyrics is really significant since they are almost the only way how poetry comes into contact with a broad society.

Havlová, Jana ; Klumparová, Štěpánka (referee) ; Brožová, Věra (advisor)
I especially devote myself in my dissertation work, whose title is "The fantastic motives in prose with children's hero by Iva Procházková", to the analysis of prose of Iva Procházková that are intentionally designed for children in which the child finds himself in a position the main hero and there are fantastic themes also occuring there. They are namely the following literary works: Wednesday tastes good, Marco and the magic horse, The Owl's song, Vincent goes to Africa, Eliah and the granny from the egg, Rhubarb, where are you? and Mice belong in heaven. but shouldn't stay too long. I allude to the plot, I interpret their meaning. I focus mainly on fantastic motives that occur in them and I am trying to clarify their function in prose with a child hero. I draw attention to the metaphorical (or symbolic) dimensions. Iva Procházková is ranked among the best authors for children and young people who currently we have. Her literary works were not intentionally designed for children but no one completely processed it. I proceed mainly from publications of Svatava Urbanová and Milena Šubrtová, but I also try on my own viewpoints, particularly on issues relating to the fantastic motives. I deal with in addition the life of Iva Procházková and her work in general, among other things, I point to the awards won...
Zavis from Falkenstejn: The Story of Medieval Magnate in Fiction of 19.th and 20th

Anthology of Fantasy Literature for Children and Teenagers
Ratajová, Lenka ; Hník, Ondřej (advisor) ; Klumparová, Štěpánka (referee)
The thesis deals with a possible use of fantasy books in Literature classes. After reading of more than eighty books of the discussed genre, an anthology of eighteen authors has been compiled. The thesis is not limited to an anthology, though, all extracts are elaborated and a commentary on each of them explains a deeper meaning of the work, its specialities and the reason why the particular passages are included. Singular exercise sheets aimed at original aspects of the books in particular are added to the extracts for practical work in classes. Each exercise sheet is completed with a didactical commentary, basic information and methodical instructions for teachers. The didactical commentaries help teachers to work with the sheet in particular and make it easier to place the book into a higher thematic unit in school teaching. The introductory part of the thesis outlines the points at issue of including the fantasy genre into Literature classes. The main part of the thesis is formed by the commentaries on each extract and possible exercise sheets. It is ended with summarized knowledge gained while creating the sheets and with a general contemplation on fantasy literature in classes. Annexed to the thesis is a list of the last three years' favourite children's books created on the basis of a public inquiry...
The Anecdote in the Teaching of Story-telling in the Upper Grades of Primary School
