Project of a Database for a Czech Red Cross Critical Evacuation Centre
Klimeš, Jiří ; Martoch, Zbyšek (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with design of a database for a critical evacuation center of the Czech red cross. There are theoretical basics described in the first part. It offers basic overview of knowledge, which is important for reaching assigned aims. There is also analysed internal situation of the Czech red cross and defined requirements to the database. Obtained pieces of knowledge are processed in the practical part and they are utilised for the main proposal. Suggested design of the database is summed up in the final part.
Short Circuit Currents in the Sokolnice 110 kV Switching Station with Direct 400/110 kV Transformation Applied
Klimeš, Jiří ; Špaček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
Klimeš Jiří Department of Electrical Power Engineering Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Short Circuit Currents in the Sokolnice 110 kV Switching Station with Direct 400/110 kV Transformation Applied doc. Ing. Vladimír Blažek, CSc. 51 p. This bachelor's thesis refers to the calculation short-circuit currents. The challenge is to evaluate short-circuit resistance switching station 110 kV Sokolnice that matches the direct transformation of 400/110 kV.
Granulometry of solid particles
Klimeš, Jiří ; Uher, Miroslav (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a real-time granulometry measurement of granulate flow with acoustic emission sensors. Thesis is focused on coal granulometry measurement in thermal power stations. Parameters were introduced in time and frequency domain describing the granulometry of measured medium. The second part is focused on granulometry measurement experiment. Parameters were calculated for reference samples of material and they were evaluated. Third part of this thesis deals with finding correlations between process variables and selected parameters
Image analysis of object surface texture
Klimeš, Jiří ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis deals with design and implementation of algorithms for image analysis of object surface texture for the purpose of automating the surface grinding process. In the first part of this thesis, a search was performed in the field of image analysis of object surface texture. The proposed descriptors were tested on the created annotated database of texture images. Subsequently, a scene for image acquisition of the machined object was designed and assembled, and the grinding process was automated based on the results of the previous analysis. The implementation and achieved results were evaluated and other possible improvements were proposed.
Management of Information Flow of Small Software Company
Klimeš, Jiří ; Martoch, Zbyšek (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the management of information flow of a small company using Business Intelligence tools and the data mart. There is defined the problem of working with information from the point of view of selected company in the first part. The next part presents selected theoretical background on the basis of which was the aim achieved. The fourth part analyses the current situation of the company. There is recommended complex improvement of the current situation in the practical part. Selected information management problem is accomplished factually. There are also introduced suitable software tools, which were used for the solution.
Societal and governmental perspective of patients with Dravet syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome

Societal and governmental perspective of patients with Dravet syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome Author: Martina Krejčová Supervisor: PharmDr. Jiří Klimeš, Ph.D. Consultant: PharmDr. David Suchánek Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University Introduction and aims: Dravet syndrome (DS) and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS) are rare diseases. The orphan drug Epidyolex is indicated to reduce the frequency of seizures in these diseases. The aim of this work is to provide a comprehensive overview of orphan drug legislation and the potential of its reimbursement from health insurance and determine the costs of DS and LGS from a societal and governmental perspective. Methods: The data for the analysis is obtained from the questionnaire focused on the social benefit drawdown, increase in household costs, and loss of productivity of patients and their caregivers. Respondents are recruited in a cooperation with patient organisations and specialised centres. The costs from both perspectives are determined by adding the expenses of the health insurance company and the costs of lost productivity (societal perspective), or the costs to the social security system (governmental perspective). The human capital approach method (HCA) is used for the societal...
Neaditivní mezimolekulární interakce
Kovačovský, Ján ; Klimeš, Jiří (advisor) ; Žonda, Martin (referee)
Non-additive intermolecular interactions, involving three or more molecules, present a significant challenge in accurately predicting molecular behaviour and properties of materials. These interactions, characterized by their high-dimensional and unpredictable nature with molecular position, cannot be reliably estimated by simply summing pair- wise interactions between molecules. Incorporating three-body non-additive interactions into first-principles quantum mechanical approaches can greatly enhance agreement with experimental data, often achieving remarkable reductions in deviations. 1

Remote and passive speech monitoring application
Klimeš, Jiří ; Mikulec, Marek (referee) ; Kováč, Daniel (advisor)
Motor speech disorders in patients with Parkinson’s disease collectively referred to as hypokinetic dysarthria, occur in the early phase of the disease. Language plays an essential role in classifying speakers into healthy and those with dysarthria. Author explains which aspects of speech are most often affected. Then explains how mobile applications work on the Android operating system, and if it is possible to use them in passive and distant speech monitoring. Then the topic of voice call recording is described and how is it possible to implement this solution. Such application is then designed and partially developed.
Development of HPLC methods for analytical evaluation of drug products and model studies of natural degradation of drug residues.
Nejedlý, Tomáš ; Klimeš, Jiří (advisor) ; Karlíček, Rolf (referee) ; Mikuš, Peter (referee)
Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis Candidate Mgr. Tomáš Nejedlý Supervisor prof. RNDr. Jiří Klimeš, CSc. Title of Doctoral Thesis Development of HPLC methods for analytical evaluation of drug products and model studies of natural degradation of drug residues The presented doctoral thesis describes two areas of pharmaceutical analysis. The first part is focused on development of validated chromatographic methods for pharmaceutical-analytical assesment of drug products and their rutine use in quality control laboratories. The second part deals with the very actual topic of environmental analysis and residues of pharmaceutical substances in sewage and surface water. The first developed method is suitable for quality evaluation of cream dosage forms containing aciclovir active substance. This method is suitable for assay of active substance and its three related substances. In addition it is validated for assay of preservatives contained in cream base. The second chromatographic method is developed for determination of tablets containing 1 mg of risperidone antipsychotic drug per tablet. This method was validated for active substance assay and the four mostimportant pharmacopoeial impurities. The last method is...
