Natural colors through the eyes of pre-school children - developing color sensibility
Plzáková, Gabriela ; Kafková, Helena (advisor) ; Kitzbergerová, Leonora (referee)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the development of sensory sensitivity of preschool children through natural media and is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis examines colors and their perception in nature, the use of natural media in contemporary visual arts, and the planning of an art education in kindergarten. The practical part describes the specific planning and implementation of an art series using natural colors and its reflection. The conclusion summarizes the findings, which indicate that some children can be highly sensitive to subtle differences in shades and less saturated colors in nature, although children generally respond best to vibrant and intense colors. The research also highlights that children are capable of independently finding materials and tools for artistic creation and show interest in observing and perceiving the colors of nature. Based on the findings, the thesis formulates principles for planning art activities with natural colors.
Possibilities of developing digital competencies within the scope of art lessons in basic education
Tihon, Štěpán ; Kitzbergerová, Leonora (advisor) ; Raudenský, Martin (referee)
The diploma thesis focuses on the possibilities of developing digital competencies within the scope of art in basic education. In the theoretical part, it focuses on the definition of terminology related to digital forms of art, names the basic principles of new media and focuses on new technologies or phenomena of the digital world, which have a significant influence on the current requirements for the acquisition of these specific competencies. In defining areas of digital competence, the text relies on conceptual models that seek to define a coherent language that unifies terms related to different digital literacies. In the conclusion of the theoretical part, the thesis maps the strategy of the educational policy of the Czech Republic in relation to the implementation of these models in curriculum documents. The resulting outcome is a confrontation of the observed issues with the field of art education and its theoretical starting points. The practical part of the work presents a conceptual analysis of the proposed art education lessons aimed at the systematic development of pupils' digital competences. It is supported by the presentation of my own creative activities, which served as a reflective tool used during the design of the submitted assignments. KEYWORDS Digital competence, digital...
The Phenomenon of the Journey in Artistic Areation and in the Pedagogical Work
Novotná, Karolína ; Gajdošíková, Pavla (advisor) ; Kitzbergerová, Leonora (referee)
This thesis is focused on exploring aspects and visions of the journey and their meaning, both in concrete and metaphorical terms. In one perspective, the path is interpreted as a link between specific points, while in the other as a tool to reach a specific goal. In such a context, the journey becomes an integral part of the process towards achieving a particular goal, which can be anything from reaching a specific destination to fulfilling a life dream or mission. In this context, the interaction between the journey and the destination is crucial. The artistic component of the work is a personal diary, which contains fragments from various journeys, captured in watercolour. The diary is enriched with drawings and texts that reflect authentic travel experiences. This diary, as well as the theme of "The Phenomenon of Travel", has become an inspirational source for didactic projects that explore the concept of travel, whether in an artistic or pedagogical context. The aim of this thesis is to explore the different aspects and perspectives of the journey, both on a concrete and metaphorical level, and to translate them into didactic projects. Gender Identity in the Work of Claude Cahun
Hapková, Tereza ; Magidová, Markéta (advisor) ; Kitzbergerová, Leonora (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the question of gender identity in the artistic production of French artist Claude Cahun. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the concept of sex, gender and identity in the context of Claude Cahun's life. Furthermore, her multiple selves, which she presents in her work through encrypted messages, is an important topic. She hides in her constructed world full of masks, masquerades, mirrors, doubles and stagings, behind the curtain of which she only let her partner, Suzanne Malherbe. The didactic part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on the proposal of the use of the photomontage technique in art education and its connection with other disciplines. The initial inspiration comes from the photomontages contained in the book Aveux non avenus, complementing the mostly autobiographical text by Claude Cahun. The main theme of the book is the search for oneself and one's own identity through text and illustrative images. In the book, Cahun has created her own world by rearranging her photographs and forming new wholes, which she has achieved through photomontage. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the photographic work of Claude Cahun. I first discuss the principles in her photographic work and their more general analysis. I then analyse three...
