The beginnings of noble castles in the Koráb Highlands in the light of archaeological sources

At the beginning of this work it was set some basic thematic problems which solution have brought many important discoveries within the bounds of the studied region. In the first more voluminous part, apart from anything else, were outlined the hypothesis of the new view of Řezno path. In this case it would have the basic relation with the origin and function od the castle localities in the territory of Koráb Hills. The second part is completely dedicaded to the elaboration and evaluation of the pottery collection from the castles in this region. Although there were very different collectin as for their numbers and qualities studying these problems we got any basic knowledges. The ono of the most significant investigation is the contemporary existence of two oldest fortificationes in the territory of Koráb Hills especially Příkopy and Ruchomperk. Their origin and existence in the 1st middle of 13th century perhaps is conclusive and give other interesting questions from the point of view of their mutual relation, the person of the bilder, etc. These conclusions change the view not only on the history of settlement in this territory, but also put to the new light the sense of the origin of two successors of these fortificationes - castles Rýzmberk and Nový Herštejn.
