This bachelor’s thesis deals with a designing, manufacturing and testing of chain guide for cross country mountain bike. In the first part construction types of chain guides is described. Next own design of chain guide is made. Suitable material and manufacturing method are chosen and chain guide is manufactured. Next part describes testing of the chain guide. In the end of thesis functionality, design, manufacturing method and using ability on the market are evaluated.

They are considered two technologies for the maschining of threading holes in profiles, respectively a cutting operation versus shaping on the base of a friction heat.

The diploma thesis is focused on the production of body for cylinder locks. This is production of very small and accurate parts. In the first part there is described the function of the lock, the sort of cylinder locks, their components and the basic types of safety elements. The second part is focused on the production of given type of body. The thesis deals with either existing production technology or proposals of possible innovation. This firstly consists in new organization of manufacturing operations. At the close we can find comparison of existing technology and new proposal.

Heat processing principle of operation thermal resistance annealing.

The project assigned for the bachelors study program B 2307 analyses the theory of heat processing in general and furthermore resistance annealing with the focus on the technology developed by the company Heatmasters. Examples of processing methods used at other technology providers are presented, inclu-ding documentation and datasheets. Resistance annealing is based on the heat transfer from a resistive wire, which heats up by electrical current. The thermal energy is then transferred to the target material through heat radiation or con-ductance. The resistance heat processing is used both for welding and for an-nealing. Nowadays is the documentation and recording of the heat processing of significant importance. Possibilities exist that allow recording of temperature during the entire cycle of the heat processing and subsequently providing the result evidence in a form of a certificate.

Based on customer’s requirements, a new Incoming Inspection for the new projects was established. Another reason for modernization is development of new products. These new products require the most modernized measuring technology. There are presented 4 variants of solution.
