On the basis of a contract for No. 850/33/10 and Appendix 1 of this contract , between OKD , as, ČSM and the Institute of Geonics AS CR, v.v.i. we present the following project monitoring stress tension-deformation condition of the rock mass during extraction of coal seam No.30 (634 ) within the test run mining methods corridor - pillar in a protective pillars jam CSM Mine, north location. Monitoring of the stress tension-deformation state of rock mass is a prerequisite for successful verification of a new mining method unapproved hall - pillar and its further use in the Czech part of the Upper Silesian Coal Basin. This mining method is designed on the basis of experiences and practices, which are verified in different natural conditions and depths, and therefore it is necessary for the verification of the conditions of the Czech part of the Upper Silesian Basin on the basis of the proposed geotechnical monitoring. Test operation of the new hall - pillar method will be implemented in the seam No.30 (634 ) in the rock mass included in the category without the risk of shocks.

Zhodnocení bylo vyhotoveno se zřetelem na vědecké a technické znalosti známé ke dni jeho dokončení. Jedná se o odborné posouzení záměru ukončení měření pozorovacích tras v bývalém dobývacím prostoru Zbýšov. V této lokalitě měl podnik DIAMO, s.p., o.z. GEAM v letech 2006-2011 povinnost provádět nivelační měření pro účely sledování a hodnocení vývoje poklesové kotliny spjaté s předchozí hlubinnou těžbou černého uhlí. Vzhledem k vývoji poklesů ve studované oblasti a dalším faktorům ovlivňujícím kvalitu měření se uvažuje dále nerealizovat výšková měření na pozorovacích trasách v tomto dobývacím prostoru.
Visualization of the digital model outputs of the South Moravian Lignite Coalfield in GIS

In this contribution, possibilities of transfer the data outputs into common GIS formats of the spatial data, are presented. Both vector geofeatures and created spatial models can be transferred using the conversion algorithms. Output data transformation into the GIS data enables multi-user using of the data. In addition, the obtained data can be further processed and analysed. It is also possible to make compositions of the map outputs, which is often needed for classical geological evidence. This contribution deals also with the design of these map outputs.

A digital model of the South Moravian Lignite Coalfield in the Bzenec area, and its visualization. In this contribution, the methodological procedures for modeling and assessing of the lignite deposit in the Bzenec area of the Czech part of the Vienna Basin (the South Moravian Lignite Coalfield) are presented. There is a territory where Dubňany seam (Pannonian F) occurs. All necessary primary data together with data about uniformly reassessed balanced seam thicknesses in about 230 boreholes were collected into a deposit database. This database was further studied in order to create the deposit model. The seam in the studied area is split into three coal benches (altogether 5 horizons). The basic deposit model is a so-called geological model, which describes the structural character of the deposit and defines the spatial positions of the coal seams. On the basis of the geological model so-called balanced models, i.e. variant models according to the coal quality, are created.

Observation of phases of subsidence depression creation. Due to exploitation of coal and other raw materials of sedimentary type there happen many surface changes connected mostly with subsidence, shifts and deformations of the area of interest. Such processes happen mainly in the overlaying strata of exploited coalface. Size and directions of these movements and deformations depend generally on many factors, primarily on geo-mechanical properties of overlaying strata and general technique of exploitation of the deposit. One of the ways of surface observation of time spatial changes is the usage of modern methods for precise determination of changing position of geo-features. Among these methods we rank GPS surveying. Subsequent processing, analysis and modelling of output data by means of modern software offer an efficient source of information for subsequent work and decisions.

Such processes happen mainly in the overlaying strata of exploited coalface. Size and directions of these movements and deformations depend generally on many factors, primarily on geo-mechanical properties of overlaying strata and general technique of exploitation of the deposit. One of the ways of surface observation of time spatial changes is the usage of modern methods for precise determination of changing position of geo-features. Among these methods we rank GPS surveying and usage of methods for gaining data from aerial photogrammetry. Subsequent processing, analysis and modelling of output data by means of modern GIS software offer an efficient source of information for subsequent work and decisions.
