Regular physical activities and its influence on the development of children with mental disabilities
Vaňková, Klára ; Pádivý, Martin (advisor) ; Kainová, Lucie (referee)
The aim of thesis is to create a comprehensive set of excercises for students with mental disabilities, attending primary school special. The set of excercises will be used, as a daily workout, with the children will have influenced in the common room before class begins. The warm -up will always take place at the same time in the same place to make it easier for children to develop a mobility habit. In the warm up, I will particularly focus on problem parts of students such as muscle dysbalance, flaccid and shortened back muscles. These problems stem from a long-term session on the school benches, but also from the different body structure of these children. However, I must take into account the health of the students and their mental level so that they are able to carry out the excercises at all. It is therefore necessary to consult with experienced educators and to study professional literature. The excercises should serve to create a mobility habit and improve their motor skills, while also repairing muscle dysbalance and strengthening and stretching back muscles. The bachelor thesis deals with the use of a rowing machine in the sports training of rowers from the perspective of the age of rowers, when they start training on the simulator, ways and motivation of training, opinions on appropriateness, frequency and forms of training for the summer and the winter period. The characteristics of rowing, the division of rowing disciplines and categories, the specifics of fitness training and training equipment of rowers are mentioned in the theoretical part. A questionnaire survey was carried out on racing and recreational rowers in the practical part. Effects of body height on movement competences of pupils
Sláčíková, Barbora ; Vojtíková, Lenka (advisor) ; Kainová, Lucie (referee)
This thesis focuses on the evaluation of how body height, BMI, gender, and leisure-time physical activities affect movement competence of pupils. The theoretical part analyses the younger school age and its characteristics in physical, psychical, movement, and motoric development. We further also analyze how movement activities affect child's organisms. The critical chapter of the theoretical part is a chapter about growth and development. Additionally, we add information about anthropometric and somatic changes in the younger school age. At the end of the theoretical part, we provide an overview of methods that can be used to measure movement competence. We mainly elaborate on MOBAK 3 method, which we chose to use in our research. The research part describes the selected research and statistic methods, research sample, and results. The data showed that there is no significant relationship between body height and movement competence. However, we found significant relationships with the other variables - BMI, gender, and leisure-time physical aktivity. KEYWORDS younger school age, body height, movement competence, motoric testing, Mobak
The impact of static and dynamic stretching on coordination and flexibility in children in primary school
Plachá, Tereza ; Kainová, Lucie (advisor) ; Jahodová, Gabriela (referee)
TITLE: The impact of static and dynamic stretching on coordination and flexibility in children in primary school AUTHOR: Tereza Plachá DEPARTMENT: Katedra tělesné výchovy SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Lucie Kainová ABSTRACT: In my final thesis I want to deal with two types of warm-up - static stretching and dynamic stretching. Warming up is an important part not only of the sport performance, but also at the beginning of the physical education lesson. In schools, this phase is often neglected. With the help of selected tests, I will observe primary school pupils at primary school to get better results after static or dynamic stretching. I will watch them in coordination and flexibility. I compiled two types of stretching, which I will try in grades 1, 3 and 5. In the first lesson, I will do static stretching with the pupils after the proper warm-up. In the second lesson, I will include dynamic stretching along the busy part. In the main part of the lesson, the pupils then pass three tests for coordination - flamingo, crossing the bench and running with the roll; and three for flexibility - standing forward bend, shoulder joint range, and hip joint range. After dynamic stretching, the children are warmed up, reaching the necessary temperature for further activities. They have a greater range of motion and therefore...
