Documentation and results analyzing of Aberdeen Angus bulls fattening on ecological farm which is situated in region Šumava at the Czech-German border. The research was done in the period of years 2011-2014. There was noted carcass weight, fattening period, slaughter weight, average daily gain and net gain. The results were compared acc. to the years and to the period of the birth.

Case Study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the osteosynthesis of medial malleolus and fibula

The ankle is a complicated structure in the human body. It is a joint that is subjected to sustained loads; muscles and ligaments provide stability. Ankle injuries are amongst the most common of injuries, but their diagnosis is sometimes difficult. With improper treatment, chronic arthritis can occur. In order to restore proper joint function, rehabilitation is necessary. The aim of this work was to identify and become familiar with physiothrapeutic procedures and practices when a fracture of the ankle has occurred. This objective has been met by using selected methods to rehabilitate the patient. The case report shows the progress of the rehabilitation, from a baseline, setting goals and choosing the appropriate form of therapy, and these determine the effects of all therapies that have been processed in the CLPA in the period from 25. 10. 2010 to 23. 11. 2010.

Filler words and expressions in Portuguese (Abstract) The aim of this study is to describe the morphological, syntactic, semantic and pragmatic aspects of the filler words and expressions (discourse markers) in Portuguese. For that purpose, a corpus of more than 3000 occurences of these expressions was assembled. It is composed of Portuguese and Brazilian mostly spoken texts belonging to different genres. The approach taken in this work is based on textual-interactive grammar, whose vision of the text is based on the social-communicative perspective, i.e. it takes not only the cognitive- informational part of the utterances, but also their interactional part in consideration. This study describes Portuguese as one language. The differences between the Brazilian and the European variety are taken in consideration only when it is necessary to treat them separately. This work can be divided into two parts. History of the filler expressions, different approaches to this issue, processes of grammaticalization and pragmaticalization and prototypical conception of the class of discourse markers (whose brief characterization as well) are discussed in the first part. Measuring of Living Standards and Quality of Life

Bachelor thesis deals with the topic of standards of living and quality of life. Both of these concepts are defined and characterized in the performed research of literature. Further the possibilities of standards of living and quality of life measuring are described. In the second part the results of two chosen surveys are described and analy-zed. The first one is Human Development Index, the other is life satisfaction detected during European Quality of Life Survey. Closer description and analyses are focused on European Union, V4 states and Czech republic. The results of secondary analysis are summarized in the tables and graphs.

Dysthanasia as manipulation with natural death

This diploma thesis deals with the ethical problems contemporary dying and relationships society to death. One is devoted to issue dysthanasia, that approached as manipulation with death. Work looks for sources of dysthanasia and one finds is in contemporary attitudes medicine and patients to deaths, dehumanization of medicine and diversion from traditions. That also looks for pathway to prevention of dysthanasia. One sees is in repeated humanization of medicine, in accept the concept futile treatment and the capabilities to distinguish ordinary and extraordinary means. This work offers the alternative of dysthanasia palliative care and seeks for a position of social worker in it.

Genus Haemophilus and laboratory examinations in medicine today

My bachelor´s thesis focuses on the most major pathogen of the genus named Haemophilus, and Haemophila influenzae. H. influenzae is an originator of more serious infections, mainly its type b, which is the most virulent organism, causing invasive diseases mainly with children and older people. It causes mainly meningitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In the theoretical part of my bachelor´s thesis I write about the genus Haemophilus and clinic significances of the most famous species which occur at present. The genus Haemophilus is an aerobic and a facultative aerobic gram that means it is a negative bacteria, which is characteristic for its arduous requests for accretion. I used some methods for the diagnosis. I used the following methods a test with growth factors, which is a common diagnostic method, which distinguishing Haemophilus according to their addiction to the growth factors. This method is financially very demanding and currently the mason being why its results are not so accurate. But thanks to a new technology a more modern method called MALDI TOF weight spektronomie (MS) was found, which is easier, quicker and more accurate than the first one. MALDI TOF enables a diagnosis of the most demanding pieces of bacteria, yeast and mushrooms. The MALDI TOF diagnosis is characterized by undisputed reliability and cost effectiveness. Lactam antibiotics, mainly antibiotics - co-amoxicilin and chloramfenikol are used as treatment methods against Heamophilus. Against serious infections can one protect themselves with a vaccination the Hib vaccination. In the practical part of my bachelor´s thesis I described some processes and laboratory diagnostics of the pathogen H. influenza by methods MALDI TOF MS and by the Test for growth factories in a microbiological laboratory named Synlab, czech s.r.o., in České Budějovice. The results of how frequently H. influenza occurred in the year 2013, were gained from of the previously mentioned laboratory information system and were transported into the other laboratory from a field office of general practisioners. The other aim of my bachelor´s thesis was to compare severity and of each method. HYPOTHESIS 1: The frequency of H. influenzae in the year 2013 depends on a season. HYPOTHESIS 2: The MALDI TOF MS method is reliable and fast for identification of the genus Haemophilus. The Test with growth factories is not so reliable and fast. From the results it is obvious that the frequency of H. influenzae depends on the season. Heamophilus are very demanding and sensitive bacteria for cultivation and they need optimal conditions for their accretion. In this season the viral diseases increase and they can affect the process of the treatment. During the comparison of these two methods I managed to prove that the second hypothesis MALDI TOF is useful in a diagnosis. This method is not demanding. And the result can be obtained in a few minutes. At the end of my thesis it can be said that the MALDI TOF MS method is fast, reliable and an efficient diagnosis tool for identification of microorganisms. MALDI TOF MS has become an effective method for taxonomic classifications and microbiological studies. The MALDI TOF MS method is fast and there are minimal costs for consumables in samples.

The seniors´activation in the Our Lady´s Home of peaceful old age of the Regional charity in Klatovy

This bachelor's thesis deals with the activation of seniors. The theoretical part describes an aging, old age and its effects on the seniors´ activities. It characterizes the forms and kinds of activization programmes, by which we can act against these impacts. It provides the basic conditions for the success of activization programmes. The practical part characterizes the residential facilities of social services, the Home for the Elderly - The Our Lady´s Home of peaceful old age of the Regional charity in Klatovy, and the using of activization programmes there.
