On the Complexity of Search Problems with a Unique Solution
Králová, Veronika ; Hubáček, Pavel (advisor) ; Brzuska, Christopher (referee) ; Bitansky, Nir (referee)
Meggido and Papadimitriou [Theor. Comput. Sci., 1991] introduced the class TFNP of search problems for which a solution always exists and is polynomially verifiable. In this thesis, we study the possibility of reducing different problems into problems in TFNP. The property which is in common for problems, for which we study the reducibility to TFNP, is that all instances of these problems have a unique solution (if there is any solution present). In the first part of this thesis, we study a problem called ARRIVAL, which was intro- duced by Dohrau, Gärtner, Kohler, Matoušek and Welzl [A Journey Through Discrete Mathemathics: A Tribute to Jiří Matoušek, 2017]. ARRIVAL is the following decisional problem: Given a graph in which a train is moving according to prescribed rules does the train arrive to a given vertex? We first improve the result of Dohrau et al. who showed that the problem is in NP ∩ coNP. We show that there exists a unique certificate for being in the language and, thus, prove that it lies in UP ∩ coUP. We also study the search version of the ARRIVAL problem, which asks for the tran- script of number of traversals for each edge. It was known that the search version lies in PLS, which was proven by Karthik C. S. [Inf. Process. Lett., 2017]. We improve this result by showing a reduction from...
Comparison of Accounting and Tax Aspects of Emploee Benefits in Selected Engineering Companies

Salt intake in infants
KRÁLOVÁ, Veronika
This bachelor's thesis deals with salt intake for infants. This is a current topic as there are lots of discussions about excessive salt intake nowadays. Taste for salt is developed in childhood and it influences its subsequent perception. Long-term excessive salt intake in food can cause a risk of hypertension. According to professor Janda, recommended daily amount of salt for an infant should not be more than 1 g. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to find out the intake of salt for infants. There were two research questions formulated: "What is the intake of salt in food for infants?" and "What is the difference between salt intake for infants being only breast-fed, infants being fed by complementary milk food and those being fed by non-milk complementary food. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical one describes the issue of salt intake, the practical one contains qualitative research. The focus group was comprised of 12 infants who were divided into 3 groups of 4. Infants up to 4 months old were in the first group, infants between 4-8 months old were in the second group and infants between 8-12 months were in the third group. Every fourth infant was chosen from the database of supervisor's patients. Three-days diet records were received from the mothers of the infants. Based on these records the amount of salt was further calculated in the Nutriservis program. The results of the survey are presented in charts and in word evaluation. The research shows that, from the point of view of salt intake, mother's milk is ideal infant food. The recommended amount of salt was not exceeded for neither of the chosen infants. The infants being fed only with mother's milk had the lowest salt intake, whereas the infants being fed with non-milk complementary food had the highest salt intake. This bachelor's thesis can serve as a source of information for students of nutritional therapy as well as for mothers of infants.
Role of special educator in the family of a child with disabilities at an early age
Králová, Veronika ; Šumníková, Pavlína (advisor) ; Květoňová, Lea (referee)
In the thesis on the role of special educator in the family of a child with a disability at an early age to deal with the issue of early care. Now through early care are special educator comes into direct contact with the family of a child with a disability at an early age and plays an essential role in the life of a family. The work outlines the normal development of a child at an early age, I deal with family situations in which a child is born with a disability. I clarify the concept of early care and all of what this entails. Then monitors the situation in early care services in the region Kladno, primarily services the two main providers of early intervention in this region, Kolping Family Center Smečno and help vulnerable children Rosa Kladno. The practical part is based on qualitative research methods in the form of an interview with mothers of children with disabilities using the services and facilities listed through dialogues with employees providing these services. The aim of my work is to find out what the situation is in providing early care Kladno, what are its specifics, benefits, advantages, disadvantages.
Random marked sets
Kráľová, Veronika ; Beneš, Viktor (advisor) ; Pawlas, Zbyněk (referee)
In this thesis, two models of marked point processes are investigated. One of the marks have a continuous distribution on a compact Riemannian manifold. The von Mises distribution and its properties are studied. Metropolis-Hastings algorithm of Markov chain Monte Carlo method is used for the simulation of Gibbs segment process. Takacs-Fiksel estimator and its modified version are examined. A kernel density estimator and entropy estimator are proposed and applied to simulated and real data. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Influence of Digitalization on Daily Work of Local Journalists
Králová, Veronika ; Hájek, Roman (advisor) ; Karaščáková, Zuzana (referee)
The Bachelor's thesis deals with the view of local journalists on how digitizing has changed their work. The digitizing means introducing digital technology into mass communication. Those technologies go along with journalists from choosing and processing the topic to distributing the product to the readers and that includes operation of the entire editorial staff. The first part explains a phenomenon of local media and digitizing. The local media are a specific type of media, which are based and broadcast only in a certain territory and deals primarily with issues of this area. The second part is a research, during which I conducted interviews with six editors from six different newspaper offices of local newspaper Deník. The interviews related to how the local journalists look on changes and their potential effects and whether they consider the digitization has changed their work. I was also interested if the local journalists perceive the difference between digitization on their work opposed to the work of colleagues in the national media. The respondents claim the major change is in facilitation and acceleration of their work. On the other side the digitalization (particularly the Internet) has brought new challenges, more work and also complicated the sale of newspapers because many readers...
Poisson process
Kráľová, Veronika ; Beneš, Viktor (advisor) ; Novák, Petr (referee)
Poisson process is a random set, which analyses an occurrence of the independent random points in a certain set. An object of study are probabilistic properties of this random set. Basic definitions and properties are formulated for the Euclidean spaces of arbitrary dimension and used to simulate different types of Poisson processes. We provide the algoritm procedures and source codes for each simulation. Statistical test of complete spatial randomness (CSR) verifies in conclusion, if the simulated processes are really homogeneous Poisson processes with specific properties.
Social CRM as a Component of ERP
Králová, Veronika ; Basl, Josef (advisor) ; Pour, Jan (referee)
The submitted diploma thesis talks about evolutionary stage of classical CRM solution called Social CRM (also known as CRM 2.0 or SCRM). The goal of this work is to map a current offer at the market with SCRM and to compare it with the demand of Czech companies. The theoretical part explains all the basic terms associated with the topic, a short history and current evolution on the market. The work also identifies summary of various groups of Social CRM tools, which are currently widely used and tries to outline their functions. The main part of the study is the practical section which contains two kinds of surveys. First is devoted to Social CRM in terms of current and potential users of social networks for small and medium-sized enterprises in Czech Republic. The goal of the second survey is to discover the current situation and future evolution of Social CRM among suppliers of ERP solu-tions. Results from these two surveys are presented and widely discussed.
Process management in small and medium enterprises
KRÁLOVÁ, Veronika
The aim of the study is the characterization of process management in selected small and medium enterprises, review the level of the individual processes, influence processes to achieve strategic goals. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and application part. The theoretical part contains basic knowledges on process management. This information is obtained by the study of literature and scientific articles. The application part includes an analysis of process management, strategic policy goals, assessment of the processes influencing the goals. Both companies are compared. Appropriate recommendations for companies are proposed to basis of the comparison.
