Types of adverbs in the language of baroque texts and their development

Adverbs constitute an important element in expressing circumstances. In our dissertation we try to present various types of adverbs in the language of texts which date back to 17th and 18th centuries (so-called Baroque period). The word-formation aspect of these adverbs and the development of their meaning are emphasized. Different semantic shifts of adverbs are observed as well as their usage with functions of different parts of speech (usually particles or conjunctions). The development of adverbs found in Baroque texts is compared both with older language period and with some results of their development in contemporary Czech.

Method: Searches of available sources, data's collection and collaboration with professional firefighters of the Fire and Rescue Service in Hradec Kralove. Syntactical analysis of baroque text

The subject of the diploma thesis is syntactical analysis of the collection of sermons Vejtažní naučení (1740) by Antonín Koniáš. The aim of the thesis is the research of grammatical and lexical means used in this text to express relations in compound sentences. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part we give information about Koniáš´s life and work, further we characterize the basic syntactical phenomena and define the baroque compound sentence. In the practical part we deal with individual paratactic relations, especially we have the frequency of coordinating means in view. Subsequently we summarize the results of our work, we assess the found out coordinating means and compare them with those in the contemporary Czech language.

Communication with the Mass Media and Publicity of a Non-Profit Organization

This Diploma thesis focuses on the communication of non-profit organizations with media. Theoretical part defines general definitions and terms from the sphere of communication strategy, public relations or media. It focuses on describing the specifications and distinctions for using these tools in case of non-profit organizations. Practical part contains an analysis of the communication strategy of the non-profit organization Rotaract Říčany. The aim of this thesis is to bring an integrated view on the way how this organization communicate and analyse its publicity and offer some recommandations to be more efficient.

Business Plan

This thesis focuses on the processing of the business plan. It is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part deals with business in general and the specifics in the hospitality industry. The main element of this part is a structure of the business plan. The second part is engaged in the application of a business plan for starting a restaurant with all its necessities.
